惟我諭爾時、必啟爾口、爾則告之曰、主耶和華云、聽者任之、不聽者亦任之、彼乃悖逆之家也、

後余啟示爾、爾口能言、播傳我命、告彼悖逆之家、聽者任之、不聽者亦任之。

我與爾言時、必啟爾口、以主天主之言告之、以主天主之言告之原文作當告之曰主天主如是云欲聽者則聽、不欲聽者聽其不聽、彼原為忤逆之族、

But when I speak to you, I will open your mouth and you shall say to them,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says.’ Whoever will listen let them listen, and whoever will refuse let them refuse; for they are a rebellious people.

But later I will speak to you. I will open your mouth. Then you will tell them,‘ Here is what the Lord and King says.’ Those who listen will listen. And those who refuse to listen will refuse. They always refuse to obey me.

“ Son of man, you are living among a rebellious people. They have eyes to see but do not see and ears to hear but do not hear, for they are a rebellious people.“ Therefore, son of man, pack your belongings for exile and in the daytime, as they watch, set out and go from where you are to another place. Perhaps they will understand, though they are a rebellious people. (niv)

At that time your mouth will be opened; you will speak with him and will no longer be silent. So you will be a sign to them, and they will know that I am the Lord.” (niv)

Go now to your people in exile and speak to them. Say to them,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says,’ whether they listen or fail to listen.” (niv)

and I told the exiles everything the Lord had shown me. (niv)

I will make your tongue stick to the roof of your mouth so that you will be silent and unable to rebuke them, for they are a rebellious people. (niv)

The Lord said to him,“ Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the Lord?Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.” (niv)

And whether they listen or fail to listen— for they are a rebellious people— they will know that a prophet has been among them. (niv)

Then he told me,“ Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this scroll, because the time is near.Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy.” (niv)

Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, (niv)

Whoever has ears, let them hear. (niv)

Now the evening before the man arrived, the hand of the Lord was on me, and he opened my mouth before the man came to me in the morning. So my mouth was opened and I was no longer silent. (niv)
