惟以色列族、剛愎性成、不聽我命、不從爾言。

惟以色列族、必不聽爾、蓋不肯聽我、以色列全族面無羞恥、其心剛愎、

But the people of Israel are not willing to listen to you because they are not willing to listen to me, for all the Israelites are hardened and obstinate.

But the people of Israel do not want to listen to you. That is because they do not want to listen to me. All the Israelites are very stubborn.

But the house of Israel will not be willing to listen to you, for they are not willing to listen to me: because all the house of Israel have a hard forehead and a stubborn heart.

But the people of Israel won’t listen to you any more than they listen to me! For the whole lot of them are hard hearted and stubborn.

But the house of Israel will not want to listen to you because they do not want to listen to me. For the whole house of Israel is hardheaded and hardhearted.

yet the house of Israel will not be willing to listen to you, since they are not willing to listen to Me. The entire house of Israel certainly is stubborn and obstinate.

這些人厚着臉皮，心裏剛硬。我差你到他們那裏去，你要對他們說：『主耶和華如此說。』

耶和華對撒母耳說：「你只管聽從百姓向你說的一切話，因為他們不是厭棄你，而是厭棄我，不要我作他們的王。

他們的臉色證明自己不正，他們述說自己像所多瑪一樣的罪惡，毫不隱瞞。他們有禍了！因為作惡自害。

「從亞們的兒子猶大王約西亞十三年直到今日，在這二十三年中，常有耶和華的話臨到我；我也一再對你們傳講，只是你們不聽從。耶和華也曾一再差遣他的僕人眾先知到你們這裏來，只是你們不聽從，也不側耳而聽，

他本國的百姓卻恨他，打發使者隨後去，說：『我們不願意這個人作我們的王。』

耶路撒冷啊，耶路撒冷啊，你常殺害先知，又用石頭打死那奉差遣到你這裏來的人。我多少次想聚集你的兒女，好像母雞把小雞聚集在翅膀底下，可是你們不願意。

因此甘霖停止，春雨不降。你還是一副娼妓之臉，不顧羞恥。

你們要記得我對你們說過的話：『僕人不大於主人。』他們若迫害了我，也會迫害你們，他們若遵守了我的話，也會遵守你們的話。但他們要因我的名向你們做這一切的事，因為他們不認識差我來的那位。我若沒有來教導他們，他們就沒有罪；但如今他們的罪無可推諉了。恨我的也恨我的父。我若沒有在他們中間做過別人未曾做的事，他們就沒有罪；但如今連我與我的父，他們也看見了，也恨惡了。

這城所流的血還在城中，血倒在光滑的磐石上，沒有倒在地上，用土掩蓋；

「論到你奉耶和華的名向我們所說的話，我們必不聽從。

耶和華啊，你的眼目不是在尋找誠實嗎？你擊打他們，他們卻不傷慟；你摧毀他們，他們仍不領受管教。他們使臉剛硬過於磐石，不肯回頭。

我一再差遣我的僕人眾先知去，說：你們切不可行我所厭惡這可憎之事。他們卻不聽從，不側耳而聽，也不轉離惡事，仍向別神燒香。

然而，你們不肯到我這裏來得生命。「我不接受從人來的榮耀，但我知道，你們沒有愛神的心。我奉我父的名來了，你們並不接納我；若有別人奉自己的名來，你們倒會接納他。你們互相受榮耀，卻不尋求從獨一神來的榮耀，怎能信我呢？不要以為我會在父面前告你們；有一位告你們的，就是你們所仰望的摩西。如果你們信摩西，也會信我，因為他寫過關於我的事。你們若不信他的書，怎能信我的話呢？」

耶穌又對門徒說：「聽從你們的就是聽從我；棄絕你們的就是棄絕我；棄絕我的就是棄絕差遣我來的那位。」
