I will dry up the waters of the Nile and sell the land to an evil nation; by the hand of foreigners I will lay waste the land and everything in it. I the Lord have spoken.

第六位把他那一碗倒在幼發拉底大河上；河水就乾了，讓那些東方的列王之道路得以豫備出來。

外族人、列國中的強橫人、必將它砍掉、而丟棄它在山上；它的枝條必掉落在各平谷中；它的枝子必折斷在國中各水溝裏；地上列族之民都必逃走，離開它的蔭影。

你必死在外族人手中，像沒受割禮的人那樣的死；因為是我說了，主永恆主發神諭說。』

是那對淵海說：「你乾了吧，我必使你的江河乾涸」的，

讓刀劍攻擊她的眾水，使它們都乾涸！因為這是有雕像之地，人們都因怪偶像而瘋瘋癲癲。

埃及地就變成了淒涼荒廢了。他們就知道我乃是永恆主。『因為你說：「這河是我的，是我造的」；那麼你就看吧，我跟你為敵，跟你的河為敵；我必使埃及地、從密奪到色弗尼、直到古實邊界、全然荒廢淒涼。

因為『地和滿地所有的都屬於主』。
