Therefore thus says the Lord God:‘ Surely I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, both the strong one and the one that was broken; and I will make the sword fall out of his hand.

故主耶和華曰、我與埃及王法老為敵、必折其二肱、健者傷者、今並折之、使刃墮於其手、

主耶和華曰、我必降災於埃及王法老、昔折一肱、其一尚健今並折之、使刃墮地、

今主天主如是云、我必懲罰伊及王法老、必折其二臂、折其尚健者、已折者再折之、使刃墮於其手、

Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt. I will break both his arms, the good arm as well as the broken one, and make the sword fall from his hand.

I am against Pharaoh, the king of Egypt. I will break both his arms. I will break his healthy arm and his broken one. His sword will fall from his hand.

Therefore thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt and will break his arms, both the strong arm and the one that was broken, and I will make the sword fall from his hand.

Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am the enemy of Pharaoh, the king of Egypt! I will break both of his arms— the good arm along with the broken one— and I will make his sword clatter to the ground.

Therefore, this is what the Lord GOD says: Look! I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt. I will break his arms, both the strong one and the one already broken, and will make the sword fall from his hand.

Therefore this is what the Lord God says:‘ Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and I will break his arms, both the strong and the broken; and I will make the sword fall from his hand.

Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, the strong arm, and that which was broken; and I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand.

Therefore this is what the Lord God says: Look! I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt. I will break his arms, both the strong one and the one already broken, and will make the sword fall from his hand.

Therefore this is what the sovereign LORD says: Look, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and I will break his arms, the strong arm and the broken one, and I will make the sword drop from his hand.

Therefore the Lord Yahweh says:‘ Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, the strong arm, and that which was broken. I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand.

“ Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel,‘ Thus you shall say to the king of Judah, who sent you to Me to inquire of Me:“ Behold, Pharaoh’s army which has come up to help you will return to Egypt, to their own land.

And the king of Egypt did not come out of his land anymore, for the king of Babylon had taken all that belonged to the king of Egypt from the Brook of Egypt to the River Euphrates.

For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, But the Lord upholds the righteous.

Speak, and say,‘ Thus says the Lord God:“ Behold, I am against you, O Pharaoh king of Egypt, O great monster who lies in the midst of his rivers, Who has said,‘ My River is my own; I have made it for myself.’

The word of the Lord which came to Jeremiah the prophet against the nations.Against Egypt. Concerning the army of Pharaoh Necho, king of Egypt, which was by the River Euphrates in Carchemish, and which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon defeated in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah:“ Order the buckler and shield, And draw near to battle!Harness the horses, And mount up, you horsemen! Stand forth with your helmets, Polish the spears, Put on the armor!Why have I seen them dismayed and turned back? The sword shall devour; It shall be satiated and made drunk with their blood; For the Lord GOD of hosts has a sacrifice In the north country by the River Euphrates.“ Go up to Gilead and take balm, O virgin, the daughter of Egypt; In vain you will use many medicines; You shall not be cured.The nations have heard of your shame, And your cry has filled the land; For the mighty man has stumbled against the mighty; They both have fallen together.”

“ I will seek what was lost and bring back what was driven away, bind up the broken and strengthen what was sick; but I will destroy the fat and the strong, and feed them in judgment.”

Also her mercenaries are in her midst like fat bulls, For they also are turned back, They have fled away together. They did not stand, For the day of their calamity had come upon them, The time of their punishment.Her noise shall go like a serpent, For they shall march with an army And come against her with axes, Like those who chop wood.“ They shall cut down her forest,” says the Lord,“ Though it cannot be searched, Because they are innumerable, And more numerous than grasshoppers.The daughter of Egypt shall be ashamed; She shall be delivered into the hand Of the people of the north.”The Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, says:“ Behold, I will bring punishment on Amon of No, and Pharaoh and Egypt, with their gods and their kings— Pharaoh and those who trust in him.
