埃及王譬諸柏香木、森然高大、欣然向榮、堪與埃田木頡頏、必遭斬伐、下幽冥之所、與眾木無異、王必亡於刃、與不潔者同科、王即法老、王及眾庶、受災如此、我耶和華已言之矣。

這亞哈斯王在急難的時候，竟越發冒犯耶和華。

我在他們面前向你揮動刀劍的時候，他們必因你驚駭，他們的君王也必因你非常恐慌；在你傾覆的日子，他們各人都必為自己的性命時刻戰兢。

你僕人不但擊殺過獅子，也擊殺過熊。這個未受割禮的非利士人也必像一隻獅子或熊一樣，因為他向永活的神的軍隊罵陣。”
