埃及王譬諸柏香木、森然高大、欣然向榮、堪與埃田木頡頏、必遭斬伐、下幽冥之所、與眾木無異、王必亡於刃、與不潔者同科、王即法老、王及眾庶、受災如此、我耶和華已言之矣。

“ Which one of the trees of Eden can be compared with you? What tree is as glorious and majestic as you are? But you too will be brought down to the earth below. There you will join the trees of Eden. You will lie down with those who have not been circumcised. You will be among those who were killed by swords.“ That is what will happen to Pharaoh and his huge armies,” announces the Lord and King.

“ Whom are you thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? You shall be brought down with the trees of Eden to the world below. You shall lie among the uncircumcised, with those who are slain by the sword.“ This is Pharaoh and all his multitude, declares the Lord God.”

“ O Egypt, to which of the trees of Eden will you compare your strength and glory? You, too, will be brought down to the depths with all these other nations. 這亞哈斯王在急難的時候，越發得罪耶和華。

當我在他們面前舉起我的刀，我要使許多民族因你驚恐，他們的君王也必因你極其恐慌。在你仆倒的日子，他們各人為自己的性命時時戰兢。

你僕人曾打死獅子和熊，這未受割禮的非利士人必像獅子和熊一樣，因為他向永生神的軍隊罵陣。」

他們吃的時候，耶穌拿起餅來，祝福了，就擘開，遞給門徒，說：「你們拿去，吃吧。這是我的身體。」他又拿起杯來，祝謝了，遞給他們，說：「你們都喝這個，因為這是我立約的血，為許多人流出來，使罪得赦。
