“‘ Yet the children of your people say,“ The way of the Lord is not fair;” but as for them, their way is not fair.

“你的同胞却说，主这样做不公平。其实是他们自己行事不公。

“你本国的人还说：‘主所行的不公平。’其实他们所行的才是不公平。

「你的同胞卻說，主這樣做不公平。其實是他們自己行事不公。

“你本國的人還說：‘主所行的不公平。’其實他們所行的才是不公平。

『你本國的子民還說：「主的行徑不公正」；其實是他們的行徑不公正呢。

惟爾民族曰、主道不公、實彼之道不公也、

爾民常言主耶和華所為、不秉大公、實眾所為偏頗。

爾民猶言、主之道不公平、惟彼之道不公平、

“ Yet your people say,‘ The way of the Lord is not just.’ But it is their way that is not just.

“ In spite of that, your people say,‘ What the Lord does isn’t fair.’ But it is what you do that is not fair.

“ Yet your people say,‘ The way of the Lord is not just,’ when it is their own way that is not just.

“ Your people are saying,‘ The Lord isn’t doing what’s right,’ but it is they who are not doing what’s right.

“‘ But your people say,“ The Lord’s way isn’t fair,” even though it is their own way that isn’t fair.

“ Yet your fellow citizens say,‘ The way of the Lord is not right,’ when it is their own way that is not right.

“ Yet the children of your people say,‘ The way of the Lord is not fair.’ But it is their way which is not fair!

Yet the children of thy people say, The way of the Lord is not equal: but as for them, their way is not equal.

“ But your people say,‘ The Lord’s way isn’t fair,’ even though it is their own way that isn’t fair.

Yet the children of thy people say, The way of the Lord is not equal: but as for them, their way is not equal.

“ Yet your people say,‘ The behavior of the Lord is not right,’ when it is their behavior that is not right.

“ Yet you say,‘ The way of the Lord is not equal.’ Hear now, house of Israel: Is my way not equal? Aren’t your ways unequal?

Yet the house of Israel says,‘ The way of the Lord is not fair.’ House of Israel, aren’t my ways fair? Aren’t your ways unfair?

Yet you say,“ The way of the Lord is not fair.” House of Israel, I will judge every one of you after his ways.’”

Will you even annul my judgment? Will you condemn me, that you may be justified?

“ Do you think this to be your right, or do you say,‘ My righteousness is more than God’s,’

for I feared you, because you are an exacting man. You take up that which you didn’t lay down, and reap that which you didn’t sow.’“ He said to him,‘ Out of your own mouth I will judge you, you wicked servant! You knew that I am an exacting man, taking up that which I didn’t lay down, and reaping that which I didn’t sow.

“ He also who had received the one talent came and said,‘ Lord, I knew you that you are a hard man, reaping where you didn’t sow, and gathering where you didn’t scatter.I was afraid, and went away and hid your talent in the earth. Behold, you have what is yours.’“ But his lord answered him,‘ You wicked and slothful servant. You knew that I reap where I didn’t sow, and gather where I didn’t scatter.
