Therefore say to them, Thus says the Lord God: You eat flesh with the blood and lift up your eyes to your idols and shed blood; shall you then possess the land?

所以你要对他们说，主耶和华如此说：你们吃带血的物，仰望偶像，并且杀人流血，你们还能得这地为业吗？

所以你要對他們說，主耶和華如此說：你們吃帶血的物，仰望偶像，並且殺人流血，你們還能得這地為業嗎？

所以你要對他們說，主耶和華如此說：你們吃帶血的食物，向偶像舉目，並且流人的血，你們還能得這地為業嗎？

因此呢、你要對他們說；主永恆主這麼說：你們喫帶血之物，舉目瞻仰你們的偶像，並且殺人流人的血，你們還能擁有這地以為業麼？

故當告之曰、主耶和華云、肉尚有血、爾曹食之、瞻爾偶像、流人之血、豈得據有斯土乎、

爾當告之云、主耶和華曰、肉常有血、爾曹食之、崇敬偶像、殘害人命、豈能據有斯土、

故爾當告之曰、主天主如是云、肉尚有血、爾曹食之、又舉目仰望偶像、殺人流血、豈能據斯地為業乎、

Therefore say to them,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Since you eat meat with the blood still in it and look to your idols and shed blood, should you then possess the land?

So tell them,‘ The Lord and King says,“ You eat meat that still has blood in it. You worship your statues of gods. You commit murder. So should you still possess the land?

So tell these people,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: You eat meat with blood in it, you worship idols, and you murder the innocent. Do you really think the land should be yours?

Therefore say to them,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: You eat meat with blood in it, you look to your idols, and you shed blood. Should you then receive possession of the land?

Therefore say to them,‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ You eat meat with the blood in it, raise your eyes to your idols as you shed blood. Should you then possess the land?

“ Therefore say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord God:“ You eat meat with blood, you lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood. Should you then possess the land?

Wherefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Ye eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes unto your idols, and shed blood: and shall ye possess the land?

Therefore say to them: This is what the Lord God says: You eat meat with blood in it, raise your eyes to your idols, and shed blood. Should you then receive possession of the land?

Wherefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Ye eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood: and shall ye possess the land?

Therefore say to them,‘ This is what the sovereign LORD says: You eat the meat with the blood still in it, pray to your idols, and shed blood. Do you really think you will possess the land?

Therefore tell them,‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ You eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes to your idols, and shed blood. So should you possess the land?

But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.

Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, make offerings to Baal, and go after other gods that you have not known,and then come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say,‘ We are delivered!’— only to go on doing all these abominations?

Only you shall not eat the blood; you shall pour it out on the earth like water.

“ Behold, the princes of Israel in you, every one according to his power, have been bent on shedding blood.

if he does not eat upon the mountains or lift up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, does not defile his neighbor’s wife or approach a woman in her time of menstrual impurity,

Her princes in her midst are like wolves tearing the prey, shedding blood, destroying lives to get dishonest gain.

It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations, in all your dwelling places, that you eat neither fat nor blood.”

“ If any one of the house of Israel or of the strangers who sojourn among them eats any blood, I will set my face against that person who eats blood and will cut him off from among his people.For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it for you on the altar to make atonement for your souls, for it is the blood that makes atonement by the life.Therefore I have said to the people of Israel, No person among you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger who sojourns among you eat blood.“ Any one also of the people of Israel, or of the strangers who sojourn among them, who takes in hunting any beast or bird that may be eaten shall pour out its blood and cover it with earth.For the life of every creature is its blood: its blood is its life. Therefore I have said to the people of Israel, You shall not eat the blood of any creature, for the life of every creature is its blood. Whoever eats it shall be cut off.

oppresses the poor and needy, commits robbery, does not restore the pledge, lifts up his eyes to the idols, commits abomination,

“ You shall not eat any flesh with the blood in it. You shall not interpret omens or tell fortunes.

he does not eat upon the mountains or lift up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, does not defile his neighbor’s wife,

And beware lest you raise your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun and the moon and the stars, all the host of heaven, you be drawn away and bow down to them and serve them, things that the Lord your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole heaven.

Moreover, you shall eat no blood whatever, whether of fowl or of animal, in any of your dwelling places.Whoever eats any blood, that person shall be cut off from his people.”

Then all the men who knew that their wives had made offerings to other gods, and all the women who stood by, a great assembly, all the people who lived in Pathros in the land of Egypt, answered Jeremiah:“ As for the word that you have spoken to us in the name of the Lord, we will not listen to you.But we will do everything that we have vowed, make offerings to the queen of heaven and pour out drink offerings to her, as we did, both we and our fathers, our kings and our officials, in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem. For then we had plenty of food, and prospered, and saw no disaster.But since we left off making offerings to the queen of heaven and pouring out drink offerings to her, we have lacked everything and have been consumed by the sword and by famine.”And the women said,“ When we made offerings to the queen of heaven and poured out drink offerings to her, was it without our husbands’ approval that we made cakes for her bearing her image and poured out drink offerings to her?”

There are men in you who slander to shed blood, and people in you who eat on the mountains; they commit lewdness in your midst.

but should write to them to abstain from the things polluted by idols, and from sexual immorality, and from what has been strangled, and from blood.For from ancient generations Moses has had in every city those who proclaim him, for he is read every Sabbath in the synagogues.”

Then he said to me,“ The guilt of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great. The land is full of blood, and the city full of injustice. For they say,‘ The Lord has forsaken the land, and the Lord does not see.’

But as for the Gentiles who have believed, we have sent a letter with our judgment that they should abstain from what has been sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from what has been strangled, and from sexual immorality.”

The people pounced on the spoil and took sheep and oxen and calves and slaughtered them on the ground. And the people ate them with the blood.Then they told Saul,“ Behold, the people are sinning against the Lord by eating with the blood.” And he said,“ You have dealt treacherously; roll a great stone to me here.”And Saul said,“ Disperse yourselves among the people and say to them,‘ Let every man bring his ox or his sheep and slaughter them here and eat, and do not sin against the Lord by eating with the blood.’” So every one of the people brought his ox with him that night and they slaughtered them there.

that you abstain from what has been sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from what has been strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well. Farewell.”

He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully.
