“住以色列城镇的人要出去生火，用军器燃烧，就是大小盾牌、弓箭、棍棒、枪矛；用它们来烧火，直烧了七年。

『住以色列城市的人必出去點火燒軍械；就是小盾大牌、弓、箭、梃杖、槍矛：都用來燒火，燒到七年；

以色列諸邑居民必出、取其器械、干盾弓矢、杖梃矛戟、為薪燃火、七年之久、

以色列眾邑之民、必出取敵之干戈弓矢杖梃、用以為炊、歷至七年、

居以色列諸邑之民、必出而拾器械、即干、盾、弓、矢、梃、杖、槍、矛、焚以為薪、用以燃火、歷至七年、

“‘ Then those who live in the towns of Israel will go out and use the weapons for fuel and burn them up— the small and large shields, the bows and arrows, the war clubs and spears. For seven years they will use them for fuel.

“‘ “At that time those who live in the towns of Israel will go out and light a fire. They will use it to burn up the weapons. That includes small and large shields. It also includes bows and arrows, war clubs and spears. It will take seven years to burn all of them up.

“ Then those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out and make fires of the weapons and burn them, shields and bucklers, bow and arrows, clubs and spears; and they will make fires of them for seven years,

“ Then the people in the towns of Israel will go out and pick up your small and large shields, bows and arrows, javelins and spears, and they will use them for fuel. There will be enough to last them seven years!

“‘ Then the inhabitants of Israel’s cities will go out, kindle fires, and burn the weapons— the small and large shields, the bows and arrows, the clubs and spears. For seven years they will use them to make fires.

“ Then those who inhabit the cities of Israel will go out and make fires with the weapons and burn them, both bucklers and shields, bows and arrows, war clubs and spears, and for seven years they will make fires of them.

“ Then those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out and set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and bucklers, the bows and arrows, the javelins and spears; and they will make fires with them for seven years.

And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall make fires of the weapons and burn them, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall make fires of them seven years;

“ Then the inhabitants of Israel’s cities will go out, kindle fires, and burn the weapons— the bucklers and shields, the bows and arrows, the clubs and spears. For seven years they will use them to make fires.

And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years:

“‘ Then those who live in the cities of Israel will go out and use the weapons for kindling– the shields, bows and arrows, war clubs and spears– they will burn them for seven years.

“‘“ Those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out, and will make fires of the weapons and burn them, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the war clubs and the spears, and they will make fires with them for seven years;

他止息戰爭，直到地極；他折弓、斷槍，把戰車焚燒在火中。

你們必親眼看見，你們要說：「耶和華在以色列疆界之外必尊為大！」

「他們要出去觀看那些違背我的人的屍首，他們的蟲是不死的，他們的火是不滅的，凡有血肉之軀的都必憎惡他們。」

耶和華對約書亞說：「你不要怕他們。明日這時，我必把他們全部交給以色列人殺滅。你要砍斷他們馬的蹄筋，用火焚燒他們的戰車。」

他們不必從田野撿柴，也不必從森林伐木，因為他們要用這些軍器燒火。他們要搶奪那搶奪他們的人，擄掠那擄掠他們的人。這是主耶和華說的。」

耶和華的作為本為大，被所有喜愛的人所探尋。他所做的是尊榮和威嚴，他的公義存到永遠。

我必除滅以法蓮的戰車和耶路撒冷的戰馬；戰爭的弓也必剪除。他要向列國講和平；他的權柄必從這海管到那海，從大河管到地極。
