你們要看守聖所和祭壇，以免我的憤怒再臨到以色列人。

這塊聖地應歸那些在聖所中事奉耶和華的祭司，作為他們的居所和建聖所之用。

摩西告訴亞倫：「耶和華曾說過，『我要在事奉我的人中顯明我的聖潔，在所有子民面前彰顯我的榮耀。』」亞倫默默無言。

讓以色列人引以為戒，使亞倫子孫以外的人不致到耶和華面前燒香，以免像可拉及其同夥一樣滅亡。這是按照耶和華藉摩西的吩咐做的。

祭壇上的火要不斷燃燒，不能熄滅。祭司每天早上要在壇上加柴，擺上燔祭，在上面燒平安祭牲的脂肪。壇上的火必須不斷燃燒，不可熄滅。

他對我說：「這些在南北兩面對著聖殿空地的廂房都是聖潔的，供事奉耶和華的祭司在那裡吃至聖的祭物，並放置素祭、贖罪祭和贖過祭，因為這是聖潔的地方。

但你們這些從前遠離上帝的人，如今在基督耶穌裡，靠著祂所流的血已經被帶到上帝面前。
