Then the man brought me to the main hall and measured the jambs; the width of the jambs was six cubits on each side.

被建造在使徒和先知的根基上，而基督耶稣自己为房角石，靠着他整座房子连接得紧凑，渐渐成为在主里的圣殿。你们也靠他同被建造，成为神藉着圣灵居住的所在。

得胜的，我要使他在我神的殿中作柱子，他必不再从那里出去。我又要把我神的名和我神城的名—从天上我神那里降下来的新耶路撒冷，和我的新名，都写在他上面。

你们作为活石，要被建造成属灵的殿，成为圣洁的祭司，藉着耶稣基督献上蒙神悦纳的属灵祭物。

殿的门柱是方的。至圣所的前面有个东西形状像

有一根芦苇，像丈量的杖，赐给我；且有话说：“起来！将神的殿和祭坛，以及在殿中礼拜的人，都量一量。只是殿外的院子不用量，因为这是要给外邦人的；他们将践踏圣城四十二个月。

对他说，万军之耶和华如此说：‘看哪，那名称为大卫苗裔的，要在本处生长，并要建造耶和华的殿。就是他，要建造耶和华的殿，他要承受尊荣，坐在位上掌王权；又有一位祭司坐在自己的位上，两职之间筹划和平。
