You are to use accurate scales, an accurate ephah and an accurate bath.

“ Use weights and measures that are honest and exact.

“ You shall have just balances, a just ephah, and a just bath.

Use only honest weights and scales and honest measures, both dry and liquid.

“ You are to have honest scales, an honest dry measure, and an honest liquid measure.

“ You shall have accurate balances, an accurate ephah, and an accurate bath.

“ You shall have honest scales, an honest ephah, and an honest bath.

Hear this, you who trample the needy and do away with the poor of the land,saying,“ When will the New Moon be over that we may sell grain, and the Sabbath be ended that we may market wheat?”— skimping on the measure, boosting the price and cheating with dishonest scales,buying the poor with silver and the needy for a pair of sandals, selling even the sweepings with the wheat. Honest scales and balances belong to the Lord; all the weights in the bag are of his making. (niv)

The Lord detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favor with him. (niv)
