Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: In the first month, in the first day of the month, thou shalt take a young bullock without blemish; and thou shalt cleanse the sanctuary.

「『主耶和華說，一月初一，你要獻一隻毫無殘疾的公牛犢，潔淨聖所。

主耶和華這樣說：“正月初一日，你要取一頭無殘疾的公牛犢，潔淨聖所。

『主永恆主這麼說：正月一日、你要取一隻牛、是小公牛，完全沒有殘疾的、來為聖所除罪染。

主耶和華曰、正月朔、必取無疵之牡犢一、以潔聖所、

主耶和華曰、正月朔、必獻犢、純是務、以潔聖所、

主天主如是云、正月朔、當取無殘疾之牡犢、以潔聖所、

“‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: In the first month on the first day you are to take a young bull without defect and purify the sanctuary.

The Lord and King says,“ Get a young bull. It must not have any flaws. Use it to make the temple pure and‘ clean.’ Do this on the first day of the first month.

“ Thus says the Lord God: In the first month, on the first day of the month, you shall take a bull from the herd without blemish, and purify the sanctuary.

“ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: In early spring, on the first day of each new year, sacrifice a young bull with no defects to purify the Temple.

“ This is what the Lord GOD says: In the first month, on the first day of the month, you are to take a young, unblemished bull and purify the sanctuary.

‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ In the first month, on the first of the month, you shall take a bull without blemish and cleanse the sanctuary from sin.

‘ Thus says the Lord GOD:“ In the first month, on the first day of the month, you shall take a young bull without blemish and cleanse the sanctuary.

“ This is what the Lord God says: In the first month, on the first day of the month, you are to take a young, unblemished bull and purify the sanctuary.

Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the first[ month], in the first[ day] of the month, thou shalt take a young bullock without blemish, and cleanse the sanctuary:

“‘ This is what the sovereign LORD says: In the first month, on the first day of the month, you must take an unblemished young bull and purify the sanctuary.

“‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ In the first month, in the first day of the month, you shall take a young bull without defect; and you shall cleanse the sanctuary.

and he shall make atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleannesses of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions, even all their sins: and so shall he do for the tent of meeting, that dwelleth with them in the midst of their uncleannesses.

how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish unto God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

And on the second day thou shalt offer a he- goat without blemish for a sin- offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they did cleanse it with the bullock.

But whatsoever hath a blemish, that shall ye not offer: for it shall not be acceptable for you.

This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.

and he shall make atonement for the holy sanctuary; and he shall make atonement for the tent of meeting and for the altar; and he shall make atonement for the priests and for all the people of the assembly.

Seven days shall they make atonement for the altar and purify it; so shall they consecrate it.

Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holy place by the blood of Jesus,by the way which he dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;and having a great priest over the house of God;let us draw near with a true heart in fulness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience: and having our body washed with pure water,

but with precious blood, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot, even the blood of Christ:

And according to the law, I may almost say, all things are cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.It was necessary therefore that the copies of the things in the heavens should be cleansed with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.For Christ entered not into a holy place made with hands, like in pattern to the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear before the face of God for us:nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place year by year with blood not his own;

And in the beginnings of your months ye shall offer a burnt- offering unto Jehovah: two young bullocks, and one ram, seven he- lambs a year old without blemish;and three tenth parts of an ephah of fine flour for a meal- offering, mingled with oil, for each bullock; and two tenth parts of fine flour for a meal- offering, mingled with oil, for the one ram;and a tenth part of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal- offering unto every lamb; for a burnt- offering of a sweet savor, an offering made by fire unto Jehovah.And their drink- offerings shall be half a hin of wine for a bullock, and the third part of a hin for the ram, and the fourth part of a hin for a lamb: this is the burnt- offering of every month throughout the months of the year.And one he- goat for a sin- offering unto Jehovah; it shall be offered besides the continual burnt- offering, and the drink- offering thereof.

But seek ye first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance made of sins year by year.For it is impossible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins.

For such a high priest became us, holy, guileless, undefiled, separated from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
