「『主耶和華說，一月初一，你要獻一隻毫無殘疾的公牛犢，潔淨聖所。

『主永恆主這麼說：正月一日、你要取一隻牛、是小公牛，完全沒有殘疾的、來為聖所除罪染。

主耶和華曰、正月朔、必取無疵之牡犢一、以潔聖所、

主耶和華曰、正月朔、必獻犢、純是務、以潔聖所、

主天主如是云、正月朔、當取無殘疾之牡犢、以潔聖所、

“‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: In the first month on the first day you are to take a young bull without defect and purify the sanctuary.

The Lord and King says,“ Get a young bull. It must not have any flaws. Use it to make the temple pure and‘ clean.’ Do this on the first day of the first month.

“ Thus says the Lord God: In the first month, on the first day of the month, you shall take a bull from the herd without blemish, and purify the sanctuary.

“ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: In early spring, on the first day of each new year, sacrifice a young bull with no defects to purify the Temple.

“ This is what the Lord GOD says: In the first month, on the first day of the month, you are to take a young, unblemished bull and purify the sanctuary.

‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ In the first month, on the first of the month, you shall take a bull without blemish and cleanse the sanctuary from sin.

‘ Thus says the Lord GOD:“ In the first month, on the first day of the month, you shall take a young bull without blemish and cleanse the sanctuary.

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: In the first month, in the first day of the month, thou shalt take a young bullock without blemish; and thou shalt cleanse the sanctuary.

“ This is what the Lord God says: In the first month, on the first day of the month, you are to take a young, unblemished bull and purify the sanctuary.

Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the first[ month], in the first[ day] of the month, thou shalt take a young bullock without blemish, and cleanse the sanctuary:

“‘ This is what the sovereign LORD says: In the first month, on the first day of the month, you must take an unblemished young bull and purify the sanctuary.

“‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ In the first month, in the first day of the month, you shall take a young bull without defect; and you shall cleanse the sanctuary.

他要為聖所贖罪，使聖所脫離以色列人的不潔和他們的過犯，就是他們的一切罪孽。然後他又要為會幕同樣的贖罪。因為會幕和他們在一起，在他們的不潔中間。

何況基督的血呢？他藉著永遠的靈，把自己無瑕無疵的獻給神，他的血不是更能潔淨我們的良心脫離致死的行為，使我們可以事奉永活的神嗎？

第二天，你要獻一隻沒有殘疾的公山羊作贖罪祭，為要潔淨祭壇，像用公牛犢潔淨祭壇一樣。

有殘疾的，你們都不可獻上，因為這是不蒙悅納的。

“你們要以本月為正月，為一年的第一個月。

他要為至聖所贖罪，又為會幕和祭壇贖罪，以及為祭司們和全體會眾贖罪。

一連七天，祭司們都要潔淨祭壇，祭壇就潔淨了。這樣，他們就把祭壇分別為聖了。

所以，弟兄們！我們憑著耶穌的血，可以坦然無懼地進入至聖所。這進入的路，是他給我們開闢的，是一條通過幔子、又新又活的路，這幔子就是他的身體。我們既然有一位偉大的祭司治理神的家，我們良心的邪惡既然被灑淨，身體也用清水洗淨了，那麼，我們就應該懷著真誠的心和完備的信，進到神面前；

而是憑著基督的寶血，就像無瑕疵無玷污的羊羔的血。

按著律法，幾乎所有都是用血潔淨的，如果沒有流血，就沒有赦免。照著天上樣式作的既然必須這樣去潔淨，天上物體的本身，就應該用更美的祭品去潔淨了。因為基督不是進了人手所做的聖所（那不過是真聖所的表象），而是進到天上，現在替我們顯露在神的面前。他不必多次把自己獻上，好像大祭司每年帶著不是自己的血進入至聖所一樣。

“‘每月第一日，你們要把燔祭獻給耶和華，就是兩頭公牛犢、一隻公綿羊、七隻沒有殘疾一歲的公羊羔。為每頭公牛，要獻三公斤細麵，用油調和作素祭；為每隻公綿羊，要獻兩公斤細麵，用油調和作素祭；為每隻公羊羔，要獻一公斤細麵，用油調和作素祭；這是馨香的燔祭，是獻給耶和華的火祭。每頭公牛要獻酒兩公升作奠祭，每隻公綿羊獻酒一公升半，每隻公羊羔獻酒一公升。這是每月當獻的燔祭，一年之中每個月都要這樣。又要把一隻公山羊作贖罪祭獻給耶和華，在那常獻的燔祭和同獻的奠祭以外。

你們要先求他的國和他的義，這一切都必加給你們。

可是那些祭品，卻使人每年都想起罪來，因為公牛和山羊的血不能把罪除去。

這樣的一位大祭司，對我們本是合適的。他是聖潔、沒有邪惡、沒有玷污、從罪人中分別出來、高過眾天的。
