He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears with his ears;but with righteousness he will judge the needy, with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth. This is why it says:“ When he ascended on high, he took many captives and gave gifts to his people.” (niv)

See, a king will reign in righteousness and rulers will rule with justice.Each one will be like a shelter from the wind and a refuge from the storm, like streams of water in the desert and the shadow of a great rock in a thirsty land. (niv)

You eat the curds, clothe yourselves with the wool and slaughter the choice animals, but you do not take care of the flock.You have not strengthened the weak or healed the sick or bound up the injured. You have not brought back the strays or searched for the lost. You have ruled them harshly and brutally.So they were scattered because there was no shepherd, and when they were scattered they became food for all the wild animals.My sheep wandered over all the mountains and on every high hill. They were scattered over the whole earth, and no one searched or looked for them. (niv)

Because you shove with flank and shoulder, butting all the weak sheep with your horns until you have driven them away, (niv)

May he judge your people in righteousness, your afflicted ones with justice.May the mountains bring prosperity to the people, the hills the fruit of righteousness.May he defend the afflicted among the people and save the children of the needy; may he crush the oppressor. (niv)

I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. (niv)
