他普亞地歸瑪拿西；至於瑪拿西邊界上的他普亞城卻歸以法蓮子孫。那界線下到加拿河的南邊；在瑪拿西的眾城中、有這些城歸以法蓮。瑪拿西的地界是從河北起，其終點是海。南歸以法蓮，北歸瑪拿西，以海為界；北邊和亞設接觸，東邊和以薩迦接觸；

約瑟的子孫告訴約書亞說：『永恆主既然這樣賜福與我們，我們族民又多，你為甚麼只把一鬮一分之地分給我們為產業呢？』約書亞對他們說：『如果你們族民多，嫌以法蓮山地窄小，就可以上森林裏、在比利洗人利乏音人之地那裏自己砍樹木。』約瑟的子孫說：『那山地容不下我們，並且住山谷之地所有的迦南人、就是住伯善和屬伯善廂鎮的人、以及住耶斯列山谷的人、都有鐵車。』約書亞對約瑟家、以法蓮和瑪拿西人、說：『你們族民多，並且大有勢力，不可只有一鬮之地；山地也要歸於你們；雖是森林，你們也可以砍下來；它的邊界也可以歸於你們；迦南人雖有鐵車，雖然強大，你們也能把他們趕出。』

給約瑟子孫拈鬮抓出的地、其界線是從靠近耶利哥的約但河、在耶利哥東邊的水那裏出發；接着是曠野，這曠野是從耶利哥上去，通過伯特利山地的；界線又從伯特利、路斯伸出，過到亞基人的境界亞他綠，又往西下到押利提人的境界，直到下伯和崙的境界，而到基色；它的終點是海。約瑟的兒子瑪拿西、以法蓮是這樣得了他們的產業。以法蓮人的境界、按家族所得的是以下這些地方：他們產業的東界是亞他綠亞達、到上伯和崙；界線往西伸出，北邊是密米他，又向東繞他納示羅，過到雅挪哈的東邊；從雅挪哈下到亞他綠，又到拿拉，和耶利哥接觸，而出約但河；界線又從他普亞往西走，到加拿河，它的終點是海：這就是以法蓮人的支派、按家族所得的產業。另外在瑪拿西人的產業中還有些城是分別出來的地方，這一切城和屬這些城的村莊、都是分給以法蓮人的。但是他們沒有把住基色的迦南人趕出；於是迦南人住在以法蓮中間、直到今日；他們成為作苦工的奴隸。
