“ Bordering the territory of Judah from east to west will be the portion you are to present as a special gift. It will be 25,000 cubits wide, and its length from east to west will equal one of the tribal portions; the sanctuary will be in the center of it.

“ You must give one share as a special gift to me. It will border the territory of Judah from east to west. It will be eight miles wide. It will be as long as the border of each of the territories of the tribes. Its border will run from east to west. The temple will be in the center of that strip of land.

“ Adjoining the territory of Judah, from the east side to the west, shall be the portion which you shall set apart, 25,000 cubits in breadth, and in length equal to one of the tribal portions, from the east side to the west, with the sanctuary in the midst of it.

“ South of Judah is the land set aside for a special purpose. It will be 8 1/3 miles wide and will extend as far east and west as the tribal territories, with the Temple at the center.

“ Next to the territory of Judah, from the east side to the west, will be the portion you donate to the LORD, 8⅓ miles wide, and as long as one of the tribal portions from the east side to the west. The sanctuary will be in the middle of it.

“ And beside the border of Judah, from the east side to the west side, shall be the allotment which you shall set apart, twenty five thousand cubits in width, and in length like one of the portions, from the east side to the west side; and the sanctuary shall be in the middle of it.

“ By the border of Judah, from the east side to the west side, shall be the offering which you shall offer, twenty- five thousand reeds in width, and in length as one of the portions, from the east side to the west side: and the sanctuary shall be in the middle of it.

Look at Zion, the city where we hold religious festivals! You will see Jerusalem, a peaceful settlement, a tent that stays put; its stakes will never be pulled up; none of its ropes will snap in two.Instead the LORD will rule there as our mighty king. Rivers and wide streams will flow through it; no war galley will enter; no large ships will sail through.For the LORD, our ruler, the LORD, our commander, the LORD, our king– he will deliver us.

Cry out and shout for joy, O citizens of Zion, for the Holy One of Israel acts mightily among you!”

“‘ When you allot the land as an inheritance, you will offer an allotment to the LORD, a holy portion from the land; the length will be eight and a quarter miles and the width three and one-third miles. This entire area will be holy.Of this area a square 875 feet by 875 feet will be designated for the sanctuary, with 87½ feet set aside for its open space round about.From this measured area you will measure a length of eight and a quarter miles and a width of three and one-third miles; in it will be the sanctuary, the most holy place.It will be a holy portion of the land; it will be for the priests, the ministers of the sanctuary who approach the LORD to minister to him. It will be a place for their houses and a holy place for the sanctuary.An area eight and a quarter miles in length and three and one-third miles in width will be for the Levites, who minister at the temple, as the place for the cities in which they will live.“‘ Alongside the portion set apart as the holy allotment, you will allot for the city an area one and two-thirds miles wide and eight and a quarter miles long; it will be for the whole house of Israel.

Now I saw no temple in the city, because the Lord God– the All- Powerful– and the Lamb are its temple.

“ Many nations will join themselves to the LORD on the day of salvation, and they will also be my people. Indeed, I will settle in the midst of you all.” Then you will know that the LORD who rules over all has sent me to you.The LORD will take possession of Judah as his portion in the holy land and he will choose Jerusalem once again.

“ The rest, on both sides of the holy allotment and the property of the city, will belong to the prince. Extending from the eight and a quarter miles of the holy allotment to the east border, and westward from the eight and a quarter miles to the west border, alongside the portions, it will belong to the prince. The holy allotment and the sanctuary of the temple will be in the middle of it.

And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying:“ Look! The residence of God is among human beings. He will live among them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them.

The circumference of the city will be six miles. The name of the city from that day forward will be:‘ The LORD Is There.’”

because you have been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the cornerstone.In him the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord,in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

And there will no longer be any curse, and the throne of God and the Lamb will be in the city. His servants will worship him,

And what mutual agreement does the temple of God have with idols? For we are the temple of the living God, just as God said,“ I will live in them and will walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.”

For in him all the fullness of deity lives in bodily form,
