那时，我要将灭人、使人饥荒的恶箭，就是射去灭人的，射在你们身上，并要加增你们的饥荒，断绝你们所倚靠的粮食；

When I shoot at you with my deadly and destructive arrows of famine, I will shoot to destroy you. I will bring more and more famine upon you and cut off your supply of food.

我要将祸患堆在他们身上，把我的箭向他们射尽。他们必因饥饿消瘦，被炎热苦毒吞灭。我要打发野兽用牙齿咬他们，并土中腹行的，用毒气害他们。

于是撒玛利亚被围困，有饥荒，甚至一个驴头值银八十舍客勒，二升鸽子粪值银五舍客勒。

主万军之耶和华从耶路撒冷和犹大，除掉众人所倚靠的，所仗赖的，就是所倚靠的粮，所仗赖的水；

他张弓将我当作箭靶子。

他也预备了杀人的器械；他所射的是火箭。

我要折断你们的杖，就是断绝你们的粮。那时，必有十个女人在一个炉子给你们烤饼，按分量秤给你们；你们要吃，也吃不饱。

你必不怕黑夜的惊骇，或是白日飞的箭，也不怕黑夜行的瘟疫，或是午间灭人的毒病。虽有千人仆倒在你旁边，万人仆倒在你右边，这灾却不得临近你。

“人子啊，若有一国犯罪干犯我，我也向他伸手折断他们的杖，就是断绝他们的粮，使饥荒临到那地，将人与牲畜从其中剪除；
