Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, The LORD seeth us not; the LORD hath forsaken the earth.

他对我说：“人子啊，以色列家的长老暗中在各人画像屋里所行的，你看见了吗？他们常说：‘耶和华看不见我们；耶和华已经离弃这地。’”

他对我说：“人子啊，你看见以色列家的长老，暗中在自己偶像的房间里所做的吗？因为他们说：‘耶和华看不见我们；耶和华已经离弃这地。’”

他对我说：“人子啊，你看见以色列家的长老，暗中在自己偶像的房间里所做的吗？因为他们说：‘耶和华看不见我们；耶和华已经离弃这地。’”

祂又对我说：“人子啊，你看见以色列的长老在自己藏神像的房间里暗中所做的了吗？他们说，‘耶和华看不见我们，祂已经抛弃了这片土地。’”

他对我说：“人子啊！以色列家的众长老各在自己偶像的房间里暗中所行的，你看见了吗？他们说：‘耶和华看不见我们，耶和华已经离开这地了。’”

他對我說：「人子啊，以色列家的長老暗中在各人畫像屋裏所行的，你看見了嗎？他們常說：『耶和華看不見我們；耶和華已經離棄這地。』」

他對我說：「人子啊，你看見以色列家的長老，暗中在自己偶像的房間裏所做的嗎？因為他們說：『耶和華看不見我們；耶和華已經離棄這地。』」

他對我說：「人子啊，你看見以色列家的長老，暗中在自己偶像的房間裏所做的嗎？因為他們說：『耶和華看不見我們；耶和華已經離棄這地。』」

祂又對我說：「人子啊，你看見以色列的長老在自己藏神像的房間裡暗中所做的了嗎？他們說，『耶和華看不見我們，祂已經拋棄了這片土地。』」

他對我說：“人子啊！以色列家的眾長老各在自己偶像的房間裡暗中所行的，你看見了嗎？他們說：‘耶和華看不見我們，耶和華已經離開這地了。’”

他對我說：『人子啊，以色列家的長老各在自己鏨像的屋裏暗中所行的、你看見了沒有？他們常說：「永恆主看不見我們；永恆主已經離棄了這地了。」』

彼諭我曰、人子歟、以色列家長老、各在暗中、繪像之室所行、爾見之乎、彼謂耶和華不見我、耶和華已棄斯土矣、

主諭我曰、人子盍觀以色列族長老、暗室所為、咸入偶像之所、自謂耶和華不加鑒察、耶和華已遐棄斯民。

主諭我曰、人子、以色列族之長老各在暗中、即在其繪像之室中所為、爾觀之乎、彼意謂主不見我、主已離棄斯地、

He said to me,“ Son of man, have you seen what the elders of Israel are doing in the darkness, each at the shrine of his own idol? They say,‘ The Lord does not see us; the Lord has forsaken the land.’”

The Lord spoke to me. He said,“ Son of man, do you see what the elders of Israel are doing in the dark? Each of them is in his own room worshiping his own god. They say,‘ The Lord doesn’t see us. He has deserted the land.’ ”

Then he said to me,“ Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel are doing in the dark, each in his room of pictures? For they say,‘ The Lord does not see us, the Lord has forsaken the land.’”

Then the Lord said to me,“ Son of man, have you seen what the leaders of Israel are doing with their idols in dark rooms? They are saying,‘ The Lord doesn’t see us; he has deserted our land!’”

He said to me,“ Son of man, do you see what the elders of the house of Israel are doing in the darkness, each at the shrine of his idol? For they are saying,‘ The LORD does not see us. The LORD has abandoned the land.’”

Then He said to me,“ Do you see, son of man, what the elders of the house of Israel are doing in the dark, each man in the rooms of his carved images? For they say,‘ The Lord does not see us; the Lord has abandoned the land.’ ”

Then He said to me,“ Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the room of his idols? For they say,‘ The Lord does not see us, the Lord has forsaken the land.’”

Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in his chambers of imagery? for they say, Jehovah seeth us not; Jehovah hath forsaken the land.

Then He said to me,“ Son of man, do you see what the elders of the house of Israel are doing in the darkness, each at the shrine of his idol? For they are saying,‘ The Lord does not see us. The Lord has abandoned the land.’”

He said to me,“ Do you see, son of man, what the elders of the house of Israel are doing in the dark, each in the chamber of his idolatrous images? For they think,‘ The LORD does not see us! The LORD has abandoned the land!’”

Then he said to me,“ Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in his rooms of imagery? For they say,‘ Yahweh doesn’t see us. Yahweh has forsaken the land.’”

Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah[ is] exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD hath forsaken the earth, and the LORD seeth not.

Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us?

For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen[ this], O son of man? turn thee yet again,[ and] thou shalt see greater abominations than these.

And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see[ it].

They are of those that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof.The murderer rising with the light killeth the poor and needy, and in the night is as a thief.The eye also of the adulterer waiteth for the twilight, saying, No eye shall see me: and disguiseth[ his] face.In the dark they dig through houses,[ which] they had marked for themselves in the daytime: they know not the light.For the morning[ is] to them even as the shadow of death: if[ one] know[ them, they are in] the terrors of the shadow of death.

And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High?

[ Is] not God in the height of heaven? and behold the height of the stars, how high they are!And thou sayest, How doth God know? can he judge through the dark cloud?

And there stood before them seventy men of the ancients of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, with every man his censer in his hand; and a thick cloud of incense went up.

Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard[ it].Understand, ye brutish among the people: and[ ye] fools, when will ye be wise?He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge,[ shall not he know]?

Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen[ this], O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose.

And it came to pass in the seventh year, in the fifth[ month], the tenth[ day] of the month,[ that] certain of the elders of Israel came to enquire of the LORD, and sat before me.

Then came certain of the elders of Israel unto me, and sat before me.

He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do?[ even] the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again,[ and] thou shalt see greater abominations.And he brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, behold a hole in the wall.Then said he unto me, Son of man, dig now in the wall: and when I had digged in the wall, behold a door.
