He then brought me into the inner court of the house of the Lord, and there at the entrance to the temple, between the portico and the altar, were about twenty-five men. With their backs toward the temple of the Lord and their faces toward the east, they were bowing down to the sun in the east.

Then he brought me into the inner courtyard of the Lord’ s house. About 25 men were there. They were at the entrance to the Lord’ s temple between the porch and the altar. Their backs were turned toward the temple. Their faces were turned toward the east. And they were bowing down to the sun.

And he brought me into the inner court of the house of the Lord. And behold, at the entrance of the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about twenty-five men, with their backs to the temple of the Lord, and their faces toward the east, worshiping the sun toward the east.

Then he brought me into the inner courtyard of the Lord’s Temple. At the entrance to the sanctuary, between the entry room and the bronze altar, there were about twenty five men with their backs to the sanctuary of the Lord. They were facing east, bowing low to the ground, worshiping the sun!

So he brought me to the inner court of the LORD’s house, and there were about twenty-five men at the entrance of the LORD’s temple, between the portico and the altar, with their backs to the LORD’s temple and their faces turned to the east. They were bowing to the east in worship of the sun.

Then He brought me into the inner courtyard of the Lord’s house. And behold, at the entrance to the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about twenty five men with their backs to the temple of the Lord while their faces were toward the east; and they were prostrating themselves eastward toward the sun.

So He brought me into the inner court of the LORD’s house; and there, at the door of the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about twenty-five men with their backs toward the temple of the Lord and their faces toward the east, and they were worshiping the sun toward the east.

And he brought me into the inner court of Jehovah’s house; and behold, at the door of the temple of Jehovah, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of Jehovah, and their faces toward the east; and they were worshipping the sun toward the east.

So He brought me to the inner court of the Lord’s house, and there were about 25 men at the entrance of the Lord’s temple, between the portico and the altar, with their backs to the Lord’s temple and their faces turned to the east. They were bowing to the east in worship of the sun.

And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD’S house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar,[ were] about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.

Then he brought me to the inner court of the LORD’s house. Right there at the entrance to the LORD’s temple, between the porch and the altar, were about twenty-five men with their backs to the LORD’s temple, facing east– they were worshiping the sun toward the east!

He brought me into the inner court of Yahweh’s house; and I saw at the door of Yahweh’s temple, between the porch and the altar, there were about twenty- five men, with their backs toward Yahweh’s temple, and their faces toward the east. They were worshiping the sun toward the east.

他們對木頭說：‘你是我爸爸’；對石頭說：‘你是生我的’。他們以背向我，不以臉向我；然而遭遇患難時卻說：‘起來，救救我們吧！’

去事奉別的神，並且敬拜它們，敬拜太陽或月亮，或任何天象，是我耶和華沒有吩咐的；

又恐怕你抬頭望天，看見日、月、星，就是天上萬象的時候，就被勾引，去敬拜和事奉它們，那原是耶和華你們的神分給天下萬民享用的。

他們以背向我，不以臉向我；我不斷教導他們，他們卻不肯聽從，不接受管教；

靈把我提起來，帶到耶和華殿朝東的東門；在門口那裡有二十五個人；我看見他們中間有人民的領袖押朔的兒子雅撒尼亞和比拿雅的兒子毘拉提。

我若見太陽（“太陽”直譯是“光”）照耀，或明月行在空中，以致心中暗暗地受到迷惑，用自己的嘴親手；那麼這也就是該受審判的罪孽，因為我欺哄了高高在上的神。

靈把我提起來，領我進了內院。我看見耶和華的榮耀充滿了殿。

讓事奉耶和華的祭司在聖殿的廊子和祭壇之間哭泣，讓他們說：“耶和華啊！求你憐恤你的子民。不要使你的產業受羞辱，使他們在列國中成為笑談。為甚麼容人在萬民中譏笑說：‘他們的神在哪裡呢？’”

他又除去猶大列王獻給日頭的馬匹；這些馬匹是在耶和華殿的入口處，靠近太監拿單．米勒在院子裡的住宅。他又把獻給日頭的戰車用火燒掉。

那人進去的時候，基路伯站在殿的右邊，雲彩充滿了內院。

我們口中說過的一切話，我們一定去作，我們要向天后燒香，澆奠祭，好像我們自己和我們的列祖，以及我們的君王和領袖，在猶大的各城和耶路撒冷的街上所行的一樣。那時我們吃得飽，得享福樂，不見災禍。

祭司要取些贖罪祭牲的血，抹在殿的門框、祭壇臺上的四角，以及內院的門框上。

我們的列祖冒犯了神，行了耶和華我們的神看為惡的事，離棄了他，轉臉不顧耶和華的居所，以背向他。

他廢除了從前猶大列王所立、在猶大各城的邱壇，和耶路撒冷的周圍焚香拜偶像的祭司。又廢除向巴力、日、月、星辰和天上萬象焚香的人。

他領我從內院的南門進到內院，量了這門，大小與先前的一樣。

於是神轉身離開，任憑他們事奉天象，正如先知書所說：‘以色列家啊，你們在曠野四十年，豈是將祭牲和祭物獻給我呢？你們抬著摩洛的帳幕，和理番神的星，就是你們做來敬拜的像。所以我要把你們放逐到巴比倫那一邊去。’

至於耶和華面前的銅祭壇，他把它從殿前，從新壇與耶和華殿中間移至新壇的北邊。

因此，主耶和華這樣說：‘因為你忘記了我，把我丟在背後，所以你要擔當你淫蕩和淫亂的後果。’”

願你的眼睛晝夜看顧這殿，看顧你所說‘我的名要留在那裡’的地方。願你垂聽你僕人向這地方所發的禱告。

所羅門把耶和華殿前院子當中的地方分別為聖，在那裡獻上了燔祭和平安祭的脂肪，因為所羅門所做的銅壇容不下所有的燔祭、素祭和脂肪。
