He stretched out what looked like a hand and took me by the hair of my head. The Spirit lifted me up between earth and heaven and in visions of God he took me to Jerusalem, to the entrance of the north gate of the inner court, where the idol that provokes to jealousy stood.

He reached out what appeared to be a hand. He took hold of me by the hair of my head. The Spirit of the Lord lifted me up between earth and heaven. In visions God gave me, the Spirit took me to Jerusalem. He brought me to the entrance of the north gate of the inner courtyard. The statue of a god was standing there. It made God very angry.

“我指著我的永生起誓（這是主耶和華的宣告），你既然用你一切可憎的偶像和一切可厭的事來玷污我的聖所，我必收回對你的恩寵，我的眼必不顧惜你，我也不憐恤你。

當時，忽然有人手的指頭出現，在王宮裡燈臺對面的粉牆上寫字；王看見了那隻正在寫字的手掌，

不可跪拜它們，也不可事奉它們，因為我耶和華你們的神是忌邪的神；恨惡我的，我必追討他們的罪，從父親到兒子，直到三四代。

因為在你們中間的耶和華你們的神，是忌邪的神，恐怕耶和華你的神向你發怒，就把你從這地上消滅。

因為耶和華你的神是烈火，是忌邪的神。

他們以不是神的神激動了我的憤恨，以虛無之物惹動了我的怒氣；我也以不是子民的人激動他們的憤恨，以愚昧的國民惹動他們的怒氣。

靈把我提起來，在異象中藉著神的靈，領我到迦勒底被擄的人那裡去；我看見的異象就離開我上升去了。

我觀看，看見一隻手向我伸過來，手中有一卷書卷。

我認識一個在基督裡的人，他十四年前被提到第三層天上去。（是帶著身體被提的呢？我不知道，是離開了身體呢？我也不知道，只有神知道。）我認識這個人，（是帶著身體被提，還是在身體以外被提，我都不知道，只有神知道。）他被提到樂園裡去，聽見了難以言喻的話，那是人不可以說的。

忽然有一隻手按在我身上，使我用膝和手掌勉強支持著要站起來。

你們不能喝主的杯又喝鬼的杯，你們不能參加主的筵席又參加鬼的筵席。難道我們要激起主的忿怒嗎？我們比他更強嗎？

約書亞對眾民說：“你們不能事奉耶和華，因為他是聖潔的神；他是嫉妒的神，他必不赦免你們的過犯和罪惡。

至於耶和華面前的銅祭壇，他把它從殿前，從新壇與耶和華殿中間移至新壇的北邊。

他們從水裡上來的時候，主的靈就把腓利提去了，太監再也看不見他，就歡歡喜喜地上路。

他們對他說：“請看，你的僕人這裡有五十個壯士；請讓他們去尋找你的老師，或者耶和華的靈把他提去，丟在某一座山上，或某一處山谷裡。”以利沙說：“你們不必派人去了。”

他對我說：“人子啊！舉目向北觀看。”我就舉目向北觀看，見祭壇門的北面，在入口的地方，有令神憤恨的偶像。

那位像人的再摸我，使我有力量。

他們以美麗的飾物為誇耀，又用這些來鑄造可憎可厭的偶像，因此我要使它們成為污穢之物。

立刻，我在靈裡，就看見有一個寶座，設立在天上，有一位坐在寶座上。那位坐著的，看來好像碧玉和紅寶石，又有彩虹圍繞著寶座，看來好像綠寶石。寶座的周圍有二十四個座位，上面坐著二十四位長老，身穿白衣，頭戴金冠。有閃電、響聲、雷轟從寶座中發出；又有七枝火炬在寶座前點著，這就是神的七靈。寶座前有一個看來好像水晶的玻璃海。在寶座中間和寶座周圍有四個活物，前後布滿了眼睛。第一個活物像獅子，第二個活物像牛犢，第三個活物的臉面像人，第四個活物像飛鷹。四個活物各有六個翅膀，裡外布滿了眼睛。他們晝夜不停地說：“聖哉！聖哉！聖哉！主、全能的神，昔在、今在、以後要來的那一位。”每逢四個活物把榮耀、尊貴、感謝獻給那坐在寶座上，活到永永遠遠的那一位的時候，二十四位長老就俯伏在坐在寶座上那一位的面前，敬拜那活到永永遠遠的，又把他們的冠冕放在寶座前，說：“主、我們的神，你是配得榮耀、尊貴、權能的，因為你創造了萬有，萬有都是因著你的旨意而存在，而被造的。”

“因為猶大人行了我看為惡的事，把他們可憎的偶像安放在稱為我名下的殿中，污瀆了這殿。”這是耶和華的宣告。

我一離開你，耶和華的靈就把你提到我不知道的地方去。這樣，如果我去告訴亞哈，他找不到你，必定殺我。你僕人卻是自幼敬畏耶和華的。

靈使我升起，把我提去。那時我心靈忿激、愁苦。耶和華的手強而有力臨到我身上。

你不可敬拜別的神，因為耶和華是忌邪的神，他名為忌邪者。

因他們的邱壇，惹起他的怒氣，因他們雕刻的偶像，激起他的憤恨。

竟把他們可憎的偶像安放在稱為我名下的殿中，污穢了這殿。

那時，靈使我升起，我就聽見後面有轟轟的響聲：“耶和華的居所顯現出來的榮耀是應當稱頌的！”

他又把自己所做的亞舍拉雕像安放在聖殿中，耶和華曾對大衛和他的兒子所羅門論到這殿說：“我要在這殿和我從以色列眾支派中揀選的耶路撒冷，立我的名，直到永遠。

有一個主日，我在靈裡，聽見在我後邊有一個大聲音，好像號筒的響聲，說：“你所看見的，要寫在書上，也要寄給以弗所、士每拿、別迦摩、推雅推拉、撒狄、非拉鐵非、老底嘉七個教會。”我轉過身來要看看那跟我說話的聲音是誰發的；一轉過來，就看見七個金燈臺。燈臺中間有一位好像人子的，身上穿著直垂到腳的長衣，胸間束著金帶。他的頭和頭髮像白羊毛、像雪一樣潔白，他的眼睛好像火燄，他的兩腳好像在爐中精煉過的發光的銅，他的聲音好像眾水的聲音。他的右手拿著七星，有一把兩刃的利劍從他口中吐出來；他的臉發光好像正午的烈日。我看見了他，就仆倒在他腳前，像死了一樣。他用右手按著我，說：“不要怕！我是首先的，我是末後的，又是永活的；我曾經死過，看哪，現在又活著，直活到永永遠遠，並且拿著死亡和陰間的鑰匙。所以，你要把所看見的，現在的，和今後將要發生的事都寫下來。你所看見在我右手中的七星和七個金燈臺的奧祕就是這樣：七星是七個教會的使者，七燈臺是七個教會。”
