And he said to me,“ Son of man, do you see what they are doing, the great abominations that the house of Israel are committing here, to drive me far from my sanctuary? But you will see still greater abominations.”

又对我说：“人子啊，以色列家所行的，就是在此行这大可憎的事，使我远离我的圣所，你看见了吗？你还要看见另有大可憎的事。”

他又对我说：“人子啊，你看见以色列家所做的吗？他们在这里做了极其可憎的事，使我远离我的圣所。你还要看见另有极其可憎的事。”

他又对我说：“人子啊，你看见以色列家所做的吗？他们在这里做了极其可憎的事，使我远离我的圣所。你还要看见另有极其可憎的事。”

祂又对我说：“人子啊，你看见以色列人的所作所为了吗？他们在这里行那些极其可憎的事，以致我远离我的圣所。你会看到更可憎的事。”

他又对我说：“人子啊！以色列家在这里所行的，就是他们行这极其可憎的事，使我远离我的圣所，你看见了吗？但你还要看见更加可憎的事。”

又對我說：「人子啊，以色列家所行的，就是在此行這大可憎的事，使我遠離我的聖所，你看見了嗎？你還要看見另有大可憎的事。」

他又對我說：「人子啊，你看見以色列家所做的嗎？他們在這裏做了極其可憎的事，使我遠離我的聖所。你還要看見另有極其可憎的事。」

他又對我說：「人子啊，你看見以色列家所做的嗎？他們在這裏做了極其可憎的事，使我遠離我的聖所。你還要看見另有極其可憎的事。」

祂又對我說：「人子啊，你看見以色列人的所作所為了嗎？他們在這裡行那些極其可憎的事，以致我遠離我的聖所。你會看到更可憎的事。」

他又對我說：“人子啊！以色列家在這裡所行的，就是他們行這極其可憎的事，使我遠離我的聖所，你看見了嗎？但你還要看見更加可憎的事。”

他又對我說：『人子啊，他們所行的、以色列家在這裏所行的、這大可厭惡的事、要使我遠離我的聖所的事、你看見了沒有？你還要看見另有大可厭惡的事呢。』

又諭我曰、人子歟、以色列家在此所為、爾見之乎、彼行大可惡之事、使我遠我聖所、然爾將見尤為可惡之事、

又諭我曰、人子、爾觀以色列族在此、所行不義、深堪痛疾、使我去聖所甚遠、然爾將見可惡之事、較此尤甚。

又諭我曰、人子、以色列族在此行諸大可憎之事、使我遠離聖所、爾見之乎、爾必再見更可憎之事、

And he said to me,“ Son of man, do you see what they are doing— the utterly detestable things the Israelites are doing here, things that will drive me far from my sanctuary? But you will see things that are even more detestable.”

He said to me,“ Son of man, do you see what the Israelites are doing here? They are doing things I hate very much. Those things will cause me to go far away from my temple. But you will see things I hate even more.”

“ Son of man,” he said,“ do you see what they are doing? Do you see the detestable sins the people of Israel are committing to drive me from my Temple? But come, and you will see even more detestable sins than these!”

He said to me,“ Son of man, do you see what they are doing here— more detestable acts that the house of Israel is committing— so that I must depart from my sanctuary? You will see even more detestable acts.”

And He said to me,“ Son of man, do you see what they are doing, the great abominations which the house of Israel are committing here, so that I would be far from My sanctuary? But yet you will see still greater abominations!”

Furthermore He said to me,“ Son of man, do you see what they are doing, the great abominations that the house of Israel commits here, to make Me go far away from My sanctuary? Now turn again, you will see greater abominations.”

And he said unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel do commit here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? But thou shalt again see yet other great abominations.

He said to me,“ Son of man, do you see what they are doing here, more detestable things that the house of Israel is committing, so that I must depart from My sanctuary? You will see even more detestable things.”

He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do?[ even] the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again,[ and] thou shalt see greater abominations.

He said to me,“ Son of man, do you see what they are doing– the great abominations that the people of Israel are practicing here, to drive me far from my sanctuary? But you will see greater abominations than these!”

He said to me,“ Son of man, do you see what they do? Even the great abominations that the house of Israel commit here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? But you will again see yet other great abominations.”

Therefore, as I live, declares the Lord God, surely, because you have defiled my sanctuary with all your detestable things and with all your abominations, therefore I will withdraw. My eye will not spare, and I will have no pity.

And he said to me,“ Go in, and see the vile abominations that they are committing here.”

And the cherubim lifted up their wings and mounted up from the earth before my eyes as they went out, with the wheels beside them. And they stood at the entrance of the east gate of the house of the Lord, and the glory of the God of Israel was over them.

Do you not see what they are doing in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

Then he brought me to the entrance of the north gate of the house of the Lord, and behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz.

The Lord said to me in the days of King Josiah:“ Have you seen what she did, that faithless one, Israel, how she went up on every high hill and under every green tree, and there played the whore?

“ For the sons of Judah have done evil in my sight, declares the Lord. They have set their detestable things in the house that is called by my name, to defile it.

And before them stood seventy men of the elders of the house of Israel, with Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan standing among them. Each had his censer in his hand, and the smoke of the cloud of incense went up.Then he said to me,“ Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel are doing in the dark, each in his room of pictures? For they say,‘ The Lord does not see us, the Lord has forsaken the land.’”

then I will make this house like Shiloh, and I will make this city a curse for all the nations of the earth.’”

His beautiful ornament they used for pride, and they made their abominable images and their detestable things of it. Therefore I make it an unclean thing to them.And I will give it into the hands of foreigners for prey, and to the wicked of the earth for spoil, and they shall profane it.I will turn my face from them, and they shall profane my treasured place. Robbers shall enter and profane it.

Then the cherubim lifted up their wings, with the wheels beside them, and the glory of the God of Israel was over them.

He forsook his dwelling at Shiloh, the tent where he dwelt among mankind,

Moreover, this they have done to me: they have defiled my sanctuary on the same day and profaned my Sabbaths.For when they had slaughtered their children in sacrifice to their idols, on the same day they came into my sanctuary to profane it. And behold, this is what they did in my house.

He has laid waste his booth like a garden, laid in ruins his meeting place; the Lord has made Zion forget festival and Sabbath, and in his fierce indignation has spurned king and priest.The Lord has scorned his altar, disowned his sanctuary; he has delivered into the hand of the enemy the walls of her palaces; they raised a clamor in the house of the Lord as on the day of festival.

And the Lord said to Moses,“ Behold, you are about to lie down with your fathers. Then this people will rise and whore after the foreign gods among them in the land that they are entering, and they will forsake me and break my covenant that I have made with them.Then my anger will be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them and hide my face from them, and they will be devoured. And many evils and troubles will come upon them, so that they will say in that day,‘ Have not these evils come upon us because our God is not among us?’And I will surely hide my face in that day because of all the evil that they have done, because they have turned to other gods.

And he brought me into the inner court of the house of the Lord. And behold, at the entrance of the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about twenty-five men, with their backs to the temple of the Lord, and their faces toward the east, worshiping the sun toward the east.Then he said to me,“ Have you seen this, O son of man? Is it too light a thing for the house of Judah to commit the abominations that they commit here, that they should fill the land with violence and provoke me still further to anger? Behold, they put the branch to their nose.

They set up their abominations in the house that is called by my name, to defile it.

And the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest and the priests of the second order and the keepers of the threshold to bring out of the temple of the Lord all the vessels made for Baal, for Asherah, and for all the host of heaven. He burned them outside Jerusalem in the fields of the Kidron and carried their ashes to Bethel.And he deposed the priests whom the kings of Judah had ordained to make offerings in the high places at the cities of Judah and around Jerusalem; those also who burned incense to Baal, to the sun and the moon and the constellations and all the host of the heavens.And he brought out the Asherah from the house of the Lord, outside Jerusalem, to the brook Kidron, and burned it at the brook Kidron and beat it to dust and cast the dust of it upon the graves of the common people.

“ Both prophet and priest are ungodly; even in my house I have found their evil, declares the Lord.

I am at the brink of utter ruin in the assembled congregation.”

All the officers of the priests and the people likewise were exceedingly unfaithful, following all the abominations of the nations. And they polluted the house of the Lord that he had made holy in Jerusalem.The Lord, the God of their fathers, sent persistently to them by his messengers, because he had compassion on his people and on his dwelling place.But they kept mocking the messengers of God, despising his words and scoffing at his prophets, until the wrath of the Lord rose against his people, until there was no remedy.Therefore he brought up against them the king of the Chaldeans, who killed their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary and had no compassion on young man or virgin, old man or aged. He gave them all into his hand.
