尼布甲尼撒王曾叫他指着神起誓，他却背叛，硬着颈项，内心顽固，不归向耶和华—以色列的神。

请王考察先王史籍，必会在史籍上查知这城是反叛的城，对列王和各省有害；自古以来，城中常有悖逆的事，因此这城曾被拆毁。

耶路撒冷啊，耶路撒冷啊，你常杀害先知，又用石头打死那奉差遣到你这里来的人。我多少次想聚集你的儿女，好像母鸡把小鸡聚集在翅膀底下，可是你们不愿意。

他们开始控告他说：“我们见这人煽惑我们的国民，禁止我们纳税给凯撒，并说自己是基督，是王。”彼拉多问耶稣：“你是犹太人的王吗？”耶稣回答：“是你说的。”彼拉多对祭司长们和众人说：“我查不出这人有什么罪来。”但他们越发竭力地说：“他煽动百姓，在犹太全地传道，从加利利起，直到这里了。”

耶和华本为大！在我们神的城中，在他的圣山上，当受大赞美。锡安山—大君王的城，在北面居高华美，为全地所喜悦。

各样恶事要禁戒。

因此，耶和华向耶路撒冷和犹大发怒，以致把他们从自己面前赶出去。西底家背叛巴比伦王，

你们为主的缘故要顺服人的一切制度，或是在上的君王，或是君王所派惩恶赏善的官员。因为神的旨意原是要你们以行善来堵住糊涂无知人的口。

你说，你有打仗的计谋和能力，我看不过是空话。你到底倚靠谁，竟敢背叛我呢？

他们对我说：“那些被掳归回剩下的余民在犹大省那里遭大难，受凌辱；耶路撒冷的城墙被拆毁，城门被火焚烧。”

“你要对那悖逆之家说：你们不知道这些事是什么意思吗？你要这样说，看哪，巴比伦王曾到耶路撒冷，把其中的君王和官长带到巴比伦去，又从以色列王室后裔中选取一人，与他立约，令他发誓，又掳走国中有势力的人，使王国衰弱，不再强盛，只能靠守盟约方得生存。他却背叛巴比伦王，差派使者前往埃及，要求埃及人给他马匹和许多人。他岂能亨通呢？这样做的人岂能逃脱呢？他背了约岂能逃脱呢？主耶和华说：我指着我的永生起誓，他定要死在巴比伦，就是巴比伦王所在之处；因为巴比伦王立他为王，他竟轻看向王所起的誓，背弃王与他所立的约。当敌人建土堆，筑堡垒，要歼灭许多人时，法老虽有强大军队和大批人马，在战场上还是不能帮助他。他轻看誓言，背弃盟约，看哪，虽已投降，却又做这一切的事，他必不能逃脱。所以主耶和华如此说：我指着我的永生起誓，他既轻看我的誓言，背弃我的约，我必使这罪归到他头上。我要把我的网撒在他身上，他就被我的罗网缠住。我要带他到巴比伦，在那里因他背叛我的罪惩罚他。所有逃跑的军队必倒在刀下；剩余的也必分散四方。你们就知道说这话的是我—耶和华。”

我已下令考查，得知这城自古以来果然背叛列王，其中常有反叛悖逆的事。

你当知道，当明白，从发出命令恢复并重建耶路撒冷，直到受膏的君出现，必有七个七和六十二个七。耶路撒冷城连街带濠都必在艰难中恢复并重建。

我们看这个人如同瘟疫一般，是鼓动普天下所有的犹太人作乱的人，又是拿撒勒教派里的一个头目。

忠信的城竟然变为妓女！从前充满了公平，公义居在其中，现今却有凶手居住。你的银子变为渣滓，你的酒用水冲淡。你的官长悖逆，与盗贼为伍，全都喜爱贿赂，追求赃物；他们不为孤儿伸冤，寡妇的案件也呈不到他们面前。

约雅敬的日子，巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒上来；约雅敬服事他三年，以后又背叛他。
