This is the answer they gave us:“ We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and we are rebuilding the temple that was built many years ago, one that a great king of Israel built and finished.

Here is the answer they gave us. They said,“ We serve the God of heaven and earth. We are rebuilding the temple that was built many years ago. The great King Solomon built it and finished it.

And this was their reply to us:‘ We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and we are rebuilding the house that was built many years ago, which a great king of Israel built and finished.

“ This was their answer:‘ We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and we are rebuilding the Temple that was built here many years ago by a great king of Israel.

This is the reply they gave us: We are the servants of the God of the heavens and earth, and we are rebuilding the temple that was built many years ago, which a great king of Israel built and finished.

So they answered us as follows, saying,‘ We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and are rebuilding the temple that was built many years ago, which a great king of Israel built and finished.

And thus they returned us an answer, saying:“ We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and we are rebuilding the temple that was built many years ago, which a great king of Israel built and completed.

於是尼布甲尼撒走近烈火窰門前，說：『至高上帝的僕人、沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌啊，出來，上這裏來吧！』沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌就從火中出來。

豈不曉得、你們獻上自己做奴僕聽從誰，就給誰做奴僕聽從誰：或是做罪的奴僕、以至於死，或是做聽從之奴僕、以至於成義麼？

因為我所屬所事奉的上帝、他的一個使者昨夜站在我旁邊說：

以色列人出埃及地以後四百八十年，所羅門作王管理以色列、第四年西弗月、就是二月、他開始為永恆主建殿。所羅門王為永恆主建的殿、長六十肘，寬二十肘，高三十肘。殿堂前的廊子長二十肘，和殿的寬度一樣；廊子在殿前闊十肘。他又為殿作了窗戶、有內寬外窄的窗格子。他建造了樓房靠着殿的牆、圍着殿四圍的牆；對着殿堂和內殿他四圍造了廂房。廂房下層寬五肘，中層寬六肘，第三層寬七肘；因為殿的外面四圍有坎，免得梁木插入殿的牆裏。殿建造的時候、是用石山上琢好了的整塊石頭；因此當殿建造的時候、槌子、斧子，或任何鐵器的響聲都沒有聽見。

所以凡在人面前承認我的，我在我天上的父面前也必承認他；

倘若你們以事奉永恆主為不好，那麼你們今日就可以選擇你們所要事奉的：到底是你們列祖在大河那邊所事奉的神呢？還是你們住於其地的亞摩利人的神呢？至於我和我的家呢、我們是必定事奉永恆主的。』

至於我呢、我斷不拿別的來誇口，只誇我們主耶穌基督的十字架；藉着這十字架，就我而論、世界是釘了十字架了；就世界而論、我也釘了十字架了。

我要在君王面前講論你的法度，也不覺得羞愧。

所羅門就在耶路撒冷、永恆主向他父親大衛顯現的摩利亞山上他所豫備在「大衛地方、」在耶布斯人阿珥楠禾場上的、開始建造永恆主的殿。他開始建造、是在他執掌國政第四年、二月二日。所羅門建造上帝的殿所下的根基是六十肘、按先前的尺度，寬二十肘。殿前的廊子長二十肘，和殿的寬度相等；廊子寬十肘；高二十肘；裏面包着淨金。大殿的牆他用松木板蓋上，又蓋上純金，上面刻着棕樹和鍊子。

我告訴你們，凡在人面前承認我的，人子在上帝的使者面前也必承認他。
