好叫他們獻馨香的祭給天上的神，又為王和王眾子的壽命祈禱。

這些是從被擄之地上來的省民，巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒把他們擄去，他們重返耶路撒冷和猶大，各歸本城。

以色列人、祭司、利未人、殿役和所羅門僕人的後裔都住在猶大的城鎮，各在自己城內的地業中。本省的領袖住在耶路撒冷的如下：

這些是從被擄之地上來的省民，巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒把他們擄到巴比倫，他們重返耶路撒冷和猶大，各歸本城。

於是尼布甲尼撒靠近烈火窰門，說：「至高神的僕人沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌，出來，來吧！」沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌就從火中出來。

我樂意宣揚至高神向我所行的神蹟奇事。

因為耶和華－你們的神是萬神之神，萬主之主，是偉大、強有力、可畏的神，不看人的情面，也不受賄賂。

「波斯王居魯士如此說：耶和華天上的神已將地上萬國賜給我，又委派我在猶大的耶路撒冷為他建造殿宇。你們中間凡作他子民的，可以上猶大的耶路撒冷去，重建耶和華－以色列神的殿，他是在耶路撒冷的神；願神與這人同在。

凡天上之神所吩咐的，當為天上之神的殿切實辦理。何必使憤怒臨到王和王眾子的國呢？

耶穌從聖殿裏出來的時候，有一個門徒對他說：「老師，請看，這是多麼了不起的石頭！多麼了不起的建築！」耶穌對他說：「你看見這些宏偉的建築嗎？這裏將沒有一塊石頭會留在另一塊石頭上而不被拆毀的。」

現在我降旨，我所統轄全國的人民，都要在但以理的神面前戰兢畏懼。因為他是活的神，永遠長存，他的國度永不敗壞，他的權柄永存無極！

王對但以理說：「你既能講明這奧祕，你們的神誠然是萬神之神、萬王之主，是奧祕的啟示者。」

「時候到了，我－尼布甲尼撒舉目望天，我的知識復歸於我，我就稱頌至高者，讚美尊敬活到永遠的神。他的權柄存到永遠，他的國度存到萬代。地上所有的居民都算為虛無；在天上萬軍和地上居民中，他都憑自己的旨意行事。無人能攔住他的手，或問他說，你在做甚麼呢？「那時，我的知識復歸於我，威嚴和光榮也復歸於我，使我的國度得榮耀，我的謀士和大臣也來朝見我。我又重建我的國度，更大的權勢加添在我身上。現在我－尼布甲尼撒讚美、尊崇、恭敬天上的王，因為他所行的全都信實，他所做的盡都公平。那行事驕傲的，他能降為卑。」

王下詔書，用各省的文字、各族的語言通知各省，使凡作丈夫的在家中作主，各說本地的語言。

甚至我們的仇敵都承認，他們的磐石不如我們的磐石。

耶和華本為大，該受大讚美，其大無法測度。
