For seven days they celebrated with joy the Festival of Unleavened Bread, because the Lord had filled them with joy by changing the attitude of the king of Assyria so that he assisted them in the work on the house of God, the God of Israel.

For seven days they celebrated the Feast of Unleavened Bread with joy. That’s because the Lord had filled them with joy. They were glad because he had changed the mind of the king of Persia. So the king had helped them with the work on the house of the God of Israel.

And they kept the Feast of Unleavened Bread seven days with joy, for the Lord had made them joyful and had turned the heart of the king of Assyria to them, so that he aided them in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.

Then they celebrated the Festival of Unleavened Bread for seven days. There was great joy throughout the land because the Lord had caused the king of Assyria to be favorable to them, so that he helped them to rebuild the Temple of God, the God of Israel.

They observed the Festival of Unleavened Bread for seven days with joy, because the LORD had made them joyful, having changed the Assyrian king’s attitude toward them, so that he supported them in the work on the house of the God of Israel.

波斯王居鲁士元年，耶和华为要应验藉耶利米的口所说的话，就激发波斯王居鲁士的心，使他下诏书通告全国，说：

王的心在耶和华手中像河水，他能使它随意流转。

既然你们是无酵的面，要把旧酵除净，好使你们成为新团；因为我们逾越节的羔羊—基督已经被杀献为祭牲了。所以，我们来守这节，不可用旧酵，就是不可用恶毒、邪恶的酵，只用纯洁真实的无酵饼。

以斯拉说：“耶和华—我们列祖的神是应当称颂的！因他使王起这心愿，使耶路撒冷耶和华的殿得荣耀，

在耶路撒冷的以色列人守除酵节七日，大大喜乐。利未人和祭司为耶和华演奏响亮的乐器，天天颂赞耶和华。

那时，在场的以色列人都守逾越节，又守除酵节七日。

“现在，河西的达乃总督和示他‧波斯乃，以及他们的同僚，就是住河西的官员，你们当远离那里。不要拦阻这神殿的工作，任由犹太人的省长和长老在原处建造神的这殿。我又降旨，吩咐你们为建造神的殿当向犹太人的长老这样行：从王的财产中，由河西所缴纳的贡银，迅速支付这些人，免得工程停顿。他们向天上的神献燔祭所需用的公牛犊、公绵羊、小绵羊，以及麦子、盐、酒、油，都要照耶路撒冷祭司的话，每日供给他们，不得有误；好叫他们献馨香的祭给天上的神，又为王和王众子的寿命祈祷。我再降旨，无论谁更改这命令，必从他房屋中拆出一根梁木，把他举起，悬在其上，又使他的房屋为此成为粪堆。任何王或百姓若伸手更改这命令，拆毁在耶路撒冷神的这殿，愿那立他名在那里的神将他们灭绝。我大流士降这谕旨，你们要速速遵行。”

你要吃无酵饼七日，在第七日要向耶和华守节。这七日之内，要吃无酵饼；在你的全境内不可见有酵之物，也不可见酵母。

你们要吃无酵饼七日。第一日要把酵从你们各家中除去，因为从第一日到第七日，任何吃有酵之物的，必从以色列中剪除。第一日当有圣会，第七日也当有圣会。在这两日，任何工作都不可做，只能预备各人的食物，这是惟一可做的工作。你们要守除酵节，因为我在这一日把你们的军队从埃及地领出来。所以，你们要世世代代守这日，立为永远的定例。从正月十四日晚上，直到二十一日晚上，你们要吃无酵饼。在你们各家中，七日之内不可有酵，因为凡吃有酵之物的，无论是寄居的，是本地的，必从以色列的会中剪除。任何有酵的物，你们都不可吃；在你们一切的住处要吃无酵饼。”

我必使他们从埃及地归回，从亚述召集他们，领他们到基列地和黎巴嫩；这些还不够他们居住。耶和华必经过苦海，击打海浪。尼罗河的深处全都枯干，亚述的骄傲必降卑，埃及的权杖必除去。

除酵节的第一天，门徒来问耶稣：“你要我们在哪里给你预备吃逾越节的宴席呢？”

人所行的若蒙耶和华喜悦，耶和华也使仇敌与他和好。

耶稣回答他：“若不是从上头赐给你的，你就毫无权柄办我，所以，把我交给你的那人罪更重了。”

约西亚的日子，埃及王法老尼哥上到幼发拉底河，到亚述王那里；约西亚王去迎击他。埃及王在米吉多看见约西亚，就杀了他。

所以耶和华使亚述王的将领来攻击他们，用手铐铐住玛拿西，用铜链锁住他，把他带到巴比伦去。
