我要求王撥步兵馬兵來幫助我們抵擋路上的仇敵，原覺得慚愧，因為我們曾告訴王說：『我們的上帝的手一定會幫助一切尋求他的得福利，而他的能力和忿怒也一定會攻擊一切離棄他的。』

我求王拨步兵马兵帮助我们抵挡路上的仇敌，本以为羞耻；因我曾对王说：“我们神施恩的手必帮助一切寻求他的；但他的能力和忿怒必攻击一切离弃他的。”

我以求王拨步兵骑兵帮助我们抵挡路上的仇敌为羞愧，因我们曾对王说：“我们上帝施恩的手必帮助凡寻求他的，但他的能力和愤怒必攻击凡离弃他的。”

我以求王拨步兵骑兵帮助我们抵挡路上的仇敌为羞愧，因我们曾对王说：“我们神施恩的手必帮助凡寻求他的，但他的能力和愤怒必攻击凡离弃他的。”

我羞于求王派步兵和骑兵沿途帮助我们御敌，因为我们曾经告诉王：“我们的上帝会施恩帮助寻求祂的人，但会向背弃祂的人发烈怒。”

我羞于请求王派遣步兵和马兵帮助我们抵御路上的仇敌，因为我们曾告诉王说：‘我们神的手必帮助所有寻求他的人，赐福给他们，但他的能力和忿怒必攻击所有离弃他的人。’

我求王撥步兵馬兵幫助我們抵擋路上的仇敵，本以為羞恥；因我曾對王說：「我們神施恩的手必幫助一切尋求他的；但他的能力和忿怒必攻擊一切離棄他的。」

我以求王撥步兵騎兵幫助我們抵擋路上的仇敵為羞愧，因我們曾對王說：「我們上帝施恩的手必幫助凡尋求他的，但他的能力和憤怒必攻擊凡離棄他的。」

我以求王撥步兵騎兵幫助我們抵擋路上的仇敵為羞愧，因我們曾對王說：「我們神施恩的手必幫助凡尋求他的，但他的能力和憤怒必攻擊凡離棄他的。」

我羞於求王派步兵和騎兵沿途幫助我們禦敵，因為我們曾經告訴王：「我們的上帝會施恩幫助尋求祂的人，但會向背棄祂的人發烈怒。」

我羞於請求王派遣步兵和馬兵幫助我們抵禦路上的仇敵，因為我們曾告訴王說：‘我們神的手必幫助所有尋求他的人，賜福給他們，但他的能力和忿怒必攻擊所有離棄他的人。’

昔我告王曰、凡尋求我上帝者、必蒙其祐、棄之者必犯其權、干其怒、今求王遣步卒騎兵、助我禦敵於路、我以為恥、

昔我告王曰、凡宗事我上帝者、必蒙其祐、棄之者必干其怒、今若求王、以騎兵步卒賜我禦敵、則我必深以為恥。

昔我儕告王曰、凡求我天主者、必蒙其施恩保護、棄之者必干其盛怒、今若求王賜我步卒馬卒、防備途間之敵、則甚覺羞愧、

I was ashamed to ask the king for soldiers and horsemen to protect us from enemies on the road, because we had told the king,“ The gracious hand of our God is on everyone who looks to him, but his great anger is against all who forsake him.”

I was ashamed to ask King Artaxerxes for soldiers and horsemen. They could have kept us safe from enemies on the road. But we had told the king that our God would keep us safe. We had said,“ Our God is gracious and helps everyone who looks to him. But he becomes very angry with anyone who deserts him.”

For I was ashamed to ask the king for a band of soldiers and horsemen to protect us against the enemy on our way, since we had told the king,“ The hand of our God is for good on all who seek him, and the power of his wrath is against all who forsake him.”

For I was ashamed to ask the king for soldiers and horsemen to accompany us and protect us from enemies along the way. After all, we had told the king,“ Our God’s hand of protection is on all who worship him, but his fierce anger rages against those who abandon him.”

I did this because I was ashamed to ask the king for infantry and cavalry to protect us from enemies during the journey, since we had told him,“ The hand of our God is gracious to all who seek him, but his fierce anger is against all who abandon him.”

For I was ashamed to request from the king troops and horsemen to protect us from the enemy on the way, because we had said to the king,“ The hand of our God is favorably disposed to all who seek Him, but His power and His anger are against all those who abandon Him.”

For I was ashamed to request of the king an escort of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy on the road, because we had spoken to the king, saying,“ The hand of our God is upon all those for good who seek Him, but His power and His wrath are against all those who forsake Him.”

For I was ashamed to ask of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy in the way, because we had spoken unto the king, saying, The hand of our God is upon all them that seek him, for good; but his power and his wrath is against all them that forsake him.

I did this because I was ashamed to ask the king for infantry and cavalry to protect us from enemies during the journey, since we had told him,“ The hand of our God is gracious to all who seek Him, but His great anger is against all who abandon Him.”

For I was ashamed to require of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy in the way: because we had spoken unto the king, saying, The hand of our God[ is] upon all them for good that seek him; but his power and his wrath[ is] against all them that forsake him.

I was embarrassed to request soldiers and horsemen from the king to protect us from the enemy along the way, because we had said to the king,“ The good hand of our God is on everyone who is seeking him, but his great anger is against everyone who forsakes him.”

For I was ashamed to ask of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy on the way, because we had spoken to the king, saying,“ The hand of our God is on all those who seek him, for good; but his power and his wrath is against all those who forsake him.”

因為主的眼看顧義人，主的耳聽他們的祈求；但對行惡的人、主卻要變臉。』

亞撒利雅就出來和亞撒見面，對他說：『亞撒和猶大便雅憫眾人哪，請聽我的話！儘你們和永恆主同在時，永恆主就和你們同在。你們若尋求他，他就給你們尋見；你們若離棄他，他就離棄你們。

這以斯拉從巴比倫上來。他是一位敏捷的經學士，精於永恆主以色列之上帝所賜摩西的律法書：王賜給他一切所求的，因為永恆主他的上帝的手幫助他。

『你呢、我兒所羅門哪，你要認識永恆主你父的上帝，全心樂意地事奉他，因為永恆主究察萬人的心，他明白一切思想的計畫。你若尋求他，他就給你尋見；你若離棄他，他就永遠屏絕你。

永恆主的眼向着義人，他的耳側向他們的呼救。永恆主向行壞事的人板着臉，他必將他們被記念的遺跡從地上都剪除掉。

永恆主的眼目在全地上看來看去；凡以純全之心向他的人、他就顯大權能去幫助他。在這一點上你幹了糊塗事了！從今以後、你總有戰事了。』

人切候着永恆主、心裏尋求他、永恆主必好待這人。

永恆主的眼看敬畏他的人，看仰望他堅愛的人，而援救他們的性命脫離死亡，使他們在饑荒中得以存活。

『但我的義僕卻必須本於信而活；他若退縮，我的心就不喜悅他』。

並且我們曉得，凡愛上帝的、就是按他的定旨蒙召的人、上帝在萬事上都和他們同工，來成就有益的事。

上帝又使我在王和王眾參謀跟王所有英勇軍官面前蒙恩寵。因為永恆主我的上帝的手幫助了我，我就壯膽；我便從以色列中選拔了首領、和我一同上來。

永恆主贖救他僕人的性命；凡避難於他裏面的、必不擔受罪罰。

正月一日、他決定從巴比倫上來；五月一日、以斯拉就來到耶路撒冷，因為他的上帝至善的手幫助了他。

這就是說、倘若你們越犯了永恆主你們的上帝的約、他所吩咐你們守的約，去事奉別的神、而跪拜他們，那麼永恆主就必向你們發怒，使你們從他所賜給你們的美地上迅速地滅亡。』

永恆主發神諭說：『我必從地面上徹底掃滅一切。我必除滅人和獸，掃滅空中的飛鳥、以及海裏的魚。我必使惡人垮倒，將人從地面上剪除掉』：永恆主發神諭說。我必伸手攻擊猶大和耶路撒冷所有的居民，也必從這地方將所有的巴力連巴力祭司的名字都剪除掉到一無所剩；剪除那些在房頂上敬拜天上萬象的，剪除那些敬拜永恆主，指着永恆主來起誓、竟又指着米勒公來起誓的，剪除那些退轉而不跟從永恆主的，那些不尋求永恆主、不求問他的。』

我從前就是對他誇獎你們甚麼，也不覺得慚愧。不，我們怎樣真真實實將一切事對你們說了，我們對提多所誇獎你們的也怎樣見得是真實。

你的手必搜出你一切仇敵，你右手必痛擊恨你的人。你現出怒臉時，就使他們如炎熱的火爐；永恆主必用他的義怒吞滅他們；那火必把他們燒盡。

義人有福啊！他們有好處，因為他們必喫他們行為的果子。惡人有禍啊！他有災難，因為他的手作甚麼，就有甚麼報給他。

至於我呢、這些個、我全沒享用過。我寫了這些話，並不是要人這樣待我。我寧可死，也不願意人使我的誇耀落了空。

誰曉得你怒氣之權勢，誰看明你震怒之威力呢？
