They presented twelve bulls for all the people of Israel, as well as ninety six rams and seventy seven male lambs. They also offered twelve male goats as a sin offering. Then Hezekiah declared,“ Now that you have consecrated yourselves to the Lord, bring your sacrifices and thanksgiving offerings to the Temple of the Lord.” So the people brought their sacrifices and thanksgiving offerings, and all whose hearts were willing brought burnt offerings, too.The people brought to the Lord 70 bulls, 100 rams, and 200 male lambs for burnt offerings.

You have tested us, O God; you have purified us like silver.You captured us in your net and laid the burden of slavery on our backs.Then you put a leader over us. We went through fire and flood, but you brought us to a place of great abundance.Now I come to your Temple with burnt offerings to fulfill the vows I made to you—yes, the sacred vows that I made when I was in deep trouble.That is why I am sacrificing burnt offerings to you— the best of my rams as a pleasing aroma, and a sacrifice of bulls and male goats. What can I offer the Lord for all he has done for me?I will lift up the cup of salvation and praise the Lord’s name for saving me.I will keep my promises to the Lord in the presence of all his people.The Lord cares deeply when his loved ones die.O Lord, I am your servant; yes, I am your servant, born into your household; you have freed me from my chains.I will offer you a sacrifice of thanksgiving and call on the name of the Lord.I will fulfill my vows to the Lord in the presence of all his people—in the house of the Lord in the heart of Jerusalem. Praise the Lord!

Here is the list of the Jewish exiles of the provinces who returned from their captivity. King Nebuchadnezzar had deported them to Babylon, but now they returned to Jerusalem and the other towns in Judah where they originally lived.

The Lord called to Moses from the Tabernacle and said to him,“ Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. When you present an animal as an offering to the Lord, you may take it from your herd of cattle or your flock of sheep and goats.“ If the animal you present as a burnt offering is from the herd, it must be a male with no defects. Bring it to the entrance of the Tabernacle so you may be accepted by the Lord.Lay your hand on the animal’s head, and the Lord will accept its death in your place to purify you, making you right with him.Then slaughter the young bull in the Lord’s presence, and Aaron’s sons, the priests, will present the animal’s blood by splattering it against all sides of the altar that stands at the entrance to the Tabernacle.Then skin the animal and cut it into pieces.The sons of Aaron the priest will build a wood fire on the altar.
