因为承受产业，若本乎律法，就不本乎应许；但神是凭着应许，把产业赐给亚伯拉罕。

For if the inheritance depends on the law, then it no longer depends on the promise; but God in his grace gave it to Abraham through a promise.

The great gift that God has for us does not depend on the law. If it did, it would no longer depend on the promise. But God gave it to Abraham as a free gift through a promise.

For if the inheritance comes by the law, it no longer comes by promise; but God gave it to Abraham by a promise.

For if the inheritance could be received by keeping the law, then it would not be the result of accepting God’s promise. But God graciously gave it to Abraham as a promise.

It was not through the law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith.For if those who depend on the law are heirs, faith means nothing and the promise is worthless,because the law brings wrath. And where there is no law there is no transgression.Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring— not only to those who are of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all. (niv)

to show mercy to our ancestors and to remember his holy covenant,the oath he swore to our father Abraham: (niv)

Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy.You will again have compassion on us; you will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.You will be faithful to Jacob, and show love to Abraham, as you pledged on oath to our ancestors in days long ago. (niv)

Now if we are children, then we are heirs— heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. (niv)

I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!” (niv)

So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, (niv)

you his servants, the descendants of Abraham, his chosen ones, the children of Jacob.He is the Lord our God; his judgments are in all the earth.He remembers his covenant forever, the promise he made, for a thousand generations,the covenant he made with Abraham, the oath he swore to Isaac.He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as an everlasting covenant:“ To you I will give the land of Canaan as the portion you will inherit.”When they were but few in number, few indeed, and strangers in it, (niv)

The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. Scripture does not say“ and to seeds,” meaning many people, but“ and to your seed,” meaning one person, who is Christ. (niv)

For he remembered his holy promise given to his servant Abraham. (niv)

For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written:“ Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.” (niv)

If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. (niv)

The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, it says,“ The person who does these things will live by them.” (niv)

He has helped his servant Israel, remembering to be mercifulto Abraham and his descendants forever, just as he promised our ancestors.” (niv)
