Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham:“ All nations will be blessed through you.”

Long ago, Scripture knew that God would make the Gentiles right with himself. He would do this by their faith in him. He announced the good news ahead of time to Abraham. God said,“ All nations will be blessed because of you.”( Genesis 12:3; 18:18; 22:18)

And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying,“ In you shall all the nations be blessed.”

What’s more, the Scriptures looked forward to this time when God would make the Gentiles right in his sight because of their faith. God proclaimed this good news to Abraham long ago when he said,“ All nations will be blessed through you.”

Now the Scripture saw in advance that God would justify the Gentiles by faith and proclaimed the gospel ahead of time to Abraham, saying, All the nations will be blessed through you.

祝福你的，我要祝福他；诅咒你的，我要诅咒他。地上万族都必因你而蒙福。”

就是说，我们认为：人被称为义，是藉着信，与律法上的行为无关。难道神只是犹太人的神吗？不也是外邦人的神吗？是的，他也是外邦人的神，既然神真是一位；他要使受割礼的人因信称义，也要使没有受割礼的人因信称义。

第七位天使吹响号角，天上就有大声音说：“世上的国度已经属于我们主和他的基督；他将做王，直到永永远远！”

实际上，我们也是得以听到福音的，就像他们那样；但是他们所听的话语对他们没有益处，因为他们没有因着信，与所听的相配合。

连先知们的话也与此相符，正如经上所记：‘此后我将要回来，重建大卫倒塌的居所；我要重建它的破损之处，把它重新竖立起来。这样，其余的人，就是所有被称为我名下的外邦人，都会寻求主。这是自古以来，让人知道这些事的主说的。’

权杖必不离开犹大，王杖必不离他两脚之间，直到“细罗”来到，万民都要归顺他。

然而，经上的话把万物都圈在罪孽之下，为要使这因信耶稣基督而来的应许，赐给那些相信的人。

我必使后裔从雅各而出，使我众山的继承人从犹大而来；我的选民必拥有那地，我的仆人们必居住在那里。

我必使你的后裔增多，如同天上的星辰，我必把所有这些地都赐给你的后裔；地上万国都必因你的后裔而蒙福，

原来经上有话对法老说：“我兴起你，正是为此：好让我藉着你来显出我的大能，使我的名传遍天下。”

亚伯拉罕必定成为又大又强的国，地上万国都必因他而蒙福。

神的各样应许，原是对亚伯拉罕和他的一个后裔说的。神并没有说“后裔们”，像是指着许多人；而是说“你的一个后裔”，像是指着一个人，这一位就是基督。

你的后裔必如同地上的尘土；你必向东南西北扩展；地上万族都必因你和你的后裔而蒙福。

信我的人，就如经上所说的，从他的腹中将要涌流出活水的江河。”

并且你从年幼就知道了圣经，这圣经能使你有智慧，藉着在基督耶稣里的信仰，以至于救恩。圣经都是神所默示的，对于教导、责备、规正、在义中的训练都是有益处的，要使属神的人完备，为一切美善的工作，装备齐全。

那么，我们要怎么说呢？那原来没有追求义的外邦人，却得到了义，就是因信而得的义；

事实上，大卫指着他说：‘我常常看见主在我面前；因他在我的右边，我就不至于摇动。为此我内心欢喜，口舌快乐，并且我的肉身也要安居在盼望中。

然而经上是怎么说的呢？“把女仆和她的儿子赶出去！因为女仆的儿子，绝不可以与自由女人的儿子一同做继承人。”

在他的日子里，义人必兴盛，并有丰盛的平安，如月长存。

这地必被再次焚烧，其中还会有十分之一的人存留，就像黄连树和橡树被砍伐，其中还会有树桩存留；圣洁的后裔就是这树桩。”

等我把你的敌人放在你的脚下做脚凳。’

经上不是说，基督是大卫的后裔，是出自大卫的故乡伯利恒吗？”

另有一段经文也说：“他们将看见自己所刺的那一位。”
