至於我呢、弟兄們，我若還在宣傳割禮，為甚麼還受逼迫呢？若是那樣，十字架之被看為信仰障礙不就早已除掉了麼！

弟兄們，如果我仍然傳講割禮，我為什麼還受逼迫呢？如果我這樣做，十字架使人絆腳的地方早就沒有了。

兄弟乎、若我尚宣割禮、何至猶見窘逐乎、若然、則十架之蹇礙已廢矣、

兄弟乎、若我言人當受割禮、何至今猶窘逐我乎、彼亦不厭十字架之道矣、

兄弟乎、若我仍傳割禮、何至尚受窘逐乎、若傳割禮、則十字架之道、不被人厭棄矣、

兄弟乎、苟我今猶鼓吹割禮、則何為尚受排擯耶？夫然則十字架亦不當復被視為眼中釘矣。

Brothers and sisters, if I am still preaching circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been abolished.

Brothers and sisters, I no longer preach that people must be circumcised. If I did, why am I still being opposed? If I preached that, then the cross wouldn’t upset anyone.

But if I, brothers, still preach circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been removed.

Dear brothers and sisters, if I were still preaching that you must be circumcised— as some say I do— why am I still being persecuted? If I were no longer preaching salvation through the cross of Christ, no one would be offended.

Now brothers and sisters, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been abolished.

But as for me, brothers and sisters, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? Then the stumbling block of the cross has been eliminated.

And I, brethren, if I still preach circumcision, why do I still suffer persecution? Then the offense of the cross has ceased.

But I, brethren, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? then hath the stumbling- block of the cross been done away.

Now brothers, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been abolished.

And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.

我们却是传钉十字架的基督，在犹太人为绊脚石，在外邦人为愚拙；

凡希图外貌体面的人都勉强你们受割礼，无非是怕自己为基督的十字架受逼迫。

当时，那按着血气生的，逼迫了那按着圣灵生的，现在也是这样。

我们又因何时刻冒险呢？

但与我同去的提多，虽是希腊人，也没有勉强他受割礼；

他们听见人说，你教训一切在外邦的犹太人离弃摩西，对他们说，不要给孩子行割礼，也不要遵行条规。

保罗要带他同去，只因那些地方的犹太人都知道他父亲是希腊人，就给他行了割礼。

主向我说：‘你去吧！我要差你远远地往外邦人那里去。’”众人听他说到这句话，就高声说：“这样的人，从世上除掉他吧！他是不当活着的。”

他们是基督的仆人吗？（我说句狂话，）我更是。我比他们多受劳苦，多下监牢，受鞭打是过重的，冒死是屡次有的。被犹太人鞭打五次，每次四十减去一下；被棍打了三次；被石头打了一次；遇着船坏三次，一昼一夜在深海里。又屡次行远路，遭江河的危险、盗贼的危险、同族的危险、外邦人的危险、城里的危险、旷野的危险、海中的危险、假弟兄的危险。

他必作为圣所，却向以色列两家作绊脚的石头，跌人的磐石；向耶路撒冷的居民作为圈套和网罗。

从今以后，人都不要搅扰我，因为我身上带着耶稣的印记。

喊叫说：“以色列人来帮助，这就是在各处教训众人糟践我们百姓和律法，并这地方的。他又带着希腊人进殿，污秽了这圣地。”（

这是什么缘故呢？是因为他们不凭着信心求，只凭着行为求；他们正跌在那绊脚石上。就如经上所记：“我在锡安放一块绊脚的石头，跌人的磐石；信靠他的人必不至于羞愧。”

又说：“作了绊脚的石头，跌人的磐石。”他们既不顺从，就在道理上绊跌；他们这样绊跌也是预定的。惟有你们是被拣选的族类，是有君尊的祭司，是圣洁的国度，是属神的子民，要叫你们宣扬那召你们出黑暗、入奇妙光明者的美德。

因为十字架的道理，在那灭亡的人为愚拙；在我们得救的人，却为神的大能。

这样同心起誓的有四十多人。他们来见祭司长和长老，说：“我们已经起了一个大誓，若不先杀保罗就不吃什么。
