Listen! I, Paul, tell you this: If you are counting on circumcision to make you right with God, then Christ will be of no benefit to you.

Look! I, Paul, tell you that if you have yourselves circumcised, Christ will be of no benefit to you.

Indeed I, Paul, say to you that if you become circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing.

Behold, I Paul say unto you, that, if ye receive circumcision, Christ will profit you nothing.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision accomplishes anything; what matters is faith working through love.

Some men came down from Judea and began to teach the brothers,“ Unless you are circumcised according to the custom prescribed by Moses, you cannot be saved.”

But not even Titus, who was with me, was compelled to be circumcised, even though he was a Greek.This matter arose because some false brothers had infiltrated our ranks to spy on the freedom we have in Christ Jesus in order to enslave us.But we did not give up and submit to these people for even a moment, so that the truth of the gospel would be preserved for you.

Again I testify to every man who gets himself circumcised that he is obligated to do the entire law.You who are trying to be justified by the law are alienated from Christ; you have fallen from grace.

But Israel, pursuing the law of righteousness, has not achieved the righteousness of the law.Why is that? Because they did not pursue it by faith, but as if it were by works. They stumbled over the stumbling stone.

Paul wanted Timothy to go with him; so he took him and circumcised him because of the Jews who were in those places, since they all knew that his father was a Greek.As they traveled through the towns, they delivered the decisions reached by the apostles and elders at Jerusalem for the people to observe.

I can testify about them that they have zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.Since they are ignorant of the righteousness of God and attempted to establish their own righteousness, they have not submitted to God’s righteousness.

Now brothers and sisters, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been abolished.

For we also have received the good news just as they did. But the message they heard did not benefit them, since they were not united with those who heard it in faith.

Now I, Paul, myself, appeal to you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ— I who am humble among you in person but bold toward you when absent.

Since we have heard that some without our authorization went out from us and troubled you with their words and unsettled your hearts,

So we wanted to come to you— even I, Paul, time and again— but Satan hindered us.

I appeal to you, instead, on the basis of love. I, Paul, as an elderly man and now also as a prisoner of Christ Jesus,
