当你们举目观看你们的上帝耶和华赐给天下万民的日、月、星辰等天上万象时，不要受诱惑去跪拜、供奉它们。

那位造昴星和参星，使幽暗变为黎明，使白昼变为黑夜，召来海水浇在大地上的——祂的名字是耶和华。

你命月亮定节令，使太阳自知西沉。你造黑暗，定为夜晚，作林中百兽出没的时间。

白昼和黑夜都属于你，你设立了日月。你划定大地的疆界，又创造了盛夏和寒冬。

我观看你指头创造的穹苍和你摆列的月亮星辰，人算什么，你竟顾念他！世人算什么，你竟眷顾他！

太阳、月亮啊，你们要赞美祂！闪亮的星辰啊，你们要赞美祂！

使阳光白天照耀、星月晚上发光、大海波涛汹涌的万军之耶和华说：

要称谢那位创造日月星辰的，因为祂的慈爱永远长存。祂让太阳管理白昼，因为祂的慈爱永远长存。祂让月亮星辰管理黑夜，因为祂的慈爱永远长存。

祂使这一切各处其位，永不改变，祂的命令永不废弃。

耶和华说：“不要效法列国的行为。他们被天象吓倒，你们却不要因天象而害怕。

日月昏暗，星辰无光。

你们向天举目，看看是谁创造了这万象？是谁把众星一一领出来，给它们取名？祂的权柄和能力极大无比，它们一个也不会少。

只要大地尚存，播种收割、夏热冬寒、白昼黑夜必永不停息。”

“我要在天上地下行奇事，你们将看见血、火和烟柱。太阳要变得昏暗，月亮要变得血红。在耶和华伟大而可畏的日子来临以前，这些事都会发生。

当我消灭你的时候，我要用云遮蔽天空，使日月无光，星辰昏暗。我要遮蔽天上所有的光，使黑暗笼罩你的四境。这是主耶和华说的。

所到之处，天摇地动，日月昏暗，星辰无光。

羔羊揭开第六印的时候，我看见大地震发生了，太阳变得像黑毛布一样黑，整个月亮变成血红色，

要在我们过节的朔日和望日吹响号角。

“你生平可曾向晨曦发号施令，为黎明的曙光指定岗位，使阳光普照大地，抖出藏匿的恶人？日光使大地改观，如泥上盖印，万物如衣服般显出颜色。

“日月星辰必显出异兆，怒海汹涌、波涛翻腾，令各国惊恐不安。天体必震动，人类想到世界要面临的事都吓得魂不附体。

“你能系住昴星的结，解开参星的带吗？你能按季节领出星座，引导北斗及其众星吗？

“这是耶和华说的，‘除非你们能废除我与白昼黑夜所立的约，叫白昼黑夜不再按时更替，

太阳黯然无光。忽然挂在圣殿里的幔子从中间裂成两半。

要在朔日献公牛犊一头、羊羔六只、公绵羊一只，都要毫无残疾。

问道：“那生来做犹太人之王的在哪里呢？我们在东方看见祂的星，特来朝拜祂。”

“主耶和华说，‘圣殿内院的东门在平时工作的六日内都要关闭，只在安息日和朔日才打开。

耶稣回答说：“傍晚的时候，你们看见天边出现红霞，就说明天一定是晴天；早晨的时候，你们看见天色又红又暗，就说今天必有风雨。你们懂得分辨天色，却不能分辨时代的征兆。

天地照你的法令一直存到今日，因为万物都是你的仆役。

主耶和华说：“到那日，我要使太阳中午落下，使白昼变为黑暗。

愿那夜的晨星昏暗，等不到晨光的出现，看不见黎明的眼帘。

“当灾难的日子一过，“‘太阳变黑，月亮无光，众星陨落，天体震动。’

我把彩虹放在云中，作为我跟大地立约的记号。

在天上，我要显异兆；在地上，我要行神迹，有血、有火、有浓烟。太阳要变得昏暗，月亮要变得血红。这都要发生在主伟大荣耀的日子来临以前。

诸天述说上帝的荣耀，穹苍传扬祂的作为。它们日复一日地诉说，夜复一夜地宣扬，无言无语，无声无息。它们的声音传遍天下，它们的话语传到地极。上帝在天上为太阳设立居所。太阳出来时，如步出洞房的新郎，又如欢然奔跑赛程的健儿。它滑过长空，从天这边绕到天那边，热量广及万物。

它打开无底坑时，浓烟从坑里冒出来，好像大火炉的烟一样，太阳和天空都变得昏暗了。

第四位天使吹号的时候，太阳、月亮和星辰的三分之一都受到重击，以致失去了光辉，于是日间的三分之一暗淡无光，夜间也是如此。

然而，耶和华说，‘正如我决不废弃我所定的昼夜交替和天地运行之律，

谁能计算祂天军的数目？谁不被祂的光辉照耀？

在祂眼中，月亮算不上明亮，星辰也算不上皎洁，
