那造昴星和參星，使死蔭變為晨光，使白晝變為黑夜，召喚海水、使其傾倒在地面上的，耶和華是他的名。

你安置月亮以定季節，太陽自知沉落。你造黑暗為夜，林中的百獸就都爬出來。

白晝屬你，黑夜也屬你；亮光和太陽是你預備的。地的一切疆界是你立的，夏天和冬天是你定的。

我觀看你手指所造的天，並你所陳設的月亮星宿。人算甚麼，你竟顧念他！世人算甚麼，你竟眷顧他！

太陽月亮啊，要讚美他！放光的星宿啊，都要讚美他！

耶和華使太陽白晝發光，按定例使月亮和星辰照耀黑夜，又攪動大海，使海中波浪澎湃，萬軍之耶和華是他的名，他如此說：

稱謝那造成大光的，因他的慈愛永遠長存。他造太陽管白晝，因他的慈愛永遠長存。他造月亮星宿管黑夜，因他的慈愛永遠長存。

他將這些設定，直到永永遠遠；他訂了律例，不能廢去。

耶和華如此說：「不要效法列國的行為，任憑列國因天象驚惶，你們不要驚惶。

日月昏暗，星宿無光。

你們要向上舉目，看是誰創造這萬象，按數目領出它們，一一稱其名，以他的權能和他的大能大力，使它們一個都不缺。

地還存在的時候，撒種、收割、寒暑、冬夏、晝夜都永不止息。」

「我要在天上地下顯出奇事，有血，有火，有煙柱。太陽要變為黑暗，月亮要變為血，這都在耶和華大而可畏的日子未到以前。

我毀滅你時，要遮蔽諸天，使眾星昏暗；我必以密雲遮掩太陽，月亮也不放光。我要使天上發亮的光體在你上面變為昏暗，使你的地也變為黑暗。這是主耶和華說的。

在牠們面前，地動天搖，日月昏暗，星宿無光。

羔羊揭開第六個印的時候，我看見地大震動，太陽變黑像粗麻布，整個月亮變紅像血，

當在新月和滿月－我們過節的日期吹角，

「你有生以來，曾命定晨光，曾使黎明知道自己的地位，抓住地的四極，把惡人從其中驅逐出來嗎？地改變如泥上蓋印，萬物出現如衣服一樣。

「日月星辰要顯出預兆，地上的邦國也有困苦，因海中波浪的響聲而惶惶不安。人想到那要臨到世界的事，就都嚇得魂不附體，因為天上的萬象都要震動。

「你能為昴星繫結嗎？你能為參星解帶嗎？你能按時領出星宿嗎？能引導北斗與其眾星嗎？

「耶和華如此說：你們若能廢棄我所立白日黑夜的約，使白日黑夜不按時輪轉，

太陽變黑了，殿的幔子從當中裂為兩半。

初一，他要獻一頭無殘疾的公牛犢、六隻羔羊、一隻公綿羊，全都要用無殘疾的。

「那生下來作猶太人之王的在哪裏？我們在東方看見他的星，特來拜他。」

主耶和華如此說：「內院朝東的門，在六個工作的日子必須關閉；惟有安息日和初一要敞開。

耶穌回答他們：「傍晚天發紅，你們就說：『明日天晴。』早晨天色又紅又暗，你們就說：『今日有風雨。』你們知道分辨天上的氣象，倒不能分辨這個時代的神蹟。

天地照你的典章存到今日；萬物都是你的僕役。

「到那日，我要使太陽在正午落下，使這地在白晝黑暗。」這是主耶和華說的。

願那夜黎明的星宿變為黑暗，盼亮卻不亮，也不見晨曦破曉；

「那些日子的災難一過去，太陽要變黑，月亮也不放光，眾星要從天上墜落，天上的萬象都要震動。

我把彩虹放在雲中，這就是我與地立約的記號了。

在天上，我要顯出奇事，在地下，我要顯出神蹟，有血，有火，有煙霧。太陽要變為黑暗，月亮要變為血，這都在主大而光榮的日子未到以前。

諸天述說神的榮耀，穹蒼傳揚他手的作為。這日到那日發出言語，這夜到那夜傳出知識。無言無語，也無聲音可聽。它們的聲浪傳遍天下，它們的言語傳到地極。神在其中為太陽安設帳幕，太陽如同新郎步出洞房，又如勇士歡然奔路。它從天這邊出來，繞到天那邊，沒有一物可隱藏得不到它的熱氣。

它開了無底坑，就有煙從坑裏往上冒，好像大火爐的煙；太陽和天空都因這煙昏暗了。

第四位天使吹號，太陽的三分之一、月亮的三分之一、星辰的三分之一都被擊打，以致日月星的三分之一變黑了，白晝的三分之一沒有光，黑夜也是這樣。

耶和華如此說：除非我沒有立白日黑夜之約，也未曾安排天和地的定例，

他的軍隊豈能數算？他的光向誰不會升起呢？

看哪，在神眼前，月亮無光，星宿也不皎潔，

「在那些日子、那災難以後，太陽要變黑，月亮也不放光，
