又恐怕你向天举目，看见耶和华—你的神为天下万民所摆列的日月星辰，就是天上的万象，就被诱惑去敬拜它们，事奉它们。

太阳月亮啊，要赞美他！放光的星宿啊，都要赞美他！

白昼属你，黑夜也属你；亮光和太阳是你预备的。

那时，晨星一同歌唱；神的众使者也都欢呼。

第四位天使把碗倾倒在太阳上，使太阳可用火烤人。人被炎热所烤，就亵渎那有权掌管这些灾难的神的名，他们没有悔改，也没有把荣耀归给神。

因你的箭射出光芒，你的枪闪出光耀，日月都停在原处。

日有日的光辉，月有月的光辉，星有星的光辉；这星和那星的光辉也有区别。

那城内不用日月光照，因为有神的荣耀光照，又有羔羊为城的灯。

“那些日子的灾难一过去，太阳要变黑，月亮也不放光，众星要从天上坠落，天上的万象都要震动。

那时，月亮要蒙羞，太阳要惭愧，因为万军之耶和华必在锡安山，在耶路撒冷作王，在他众长老面前彰显荣耀。

天上的星宿都不发光，太阳一升起就变黑暗，月亮也不放光。

它从天这边出来，绕到天那边，没有一物可隐藏得不到它的热气。

从正午到下午三点钟，遍地都黑暗了。

我若见太阳发光，明月运行，

我造光，又造暗；施平安，又降灾祸；做成这一切的是我—耶和华。
