Then God said,“ Let the waters swarm with fish and other life. Let the skies be filled with birds of every kind.”

神说：“水要多多滋生有生命的物；要有雀鸟飞在地面以上，天空之中。”

上帝说：“水要滋生众多有生命之物；要有鸟飞在地面以上，天空之中。”

神说：“水要滋生众多有生命之物；要有鸟飞在地面以上，天空之中。”

上帝说：“水中要充满各种动物，空中要有禽鸟飞翔。”

神说：“水要滋长生物；地上和天空之中，要有雀鸟飞翔！”

神说：“让水中充满成群的活物，让飞鸟在大地之上、在天上的穹苍中飞翔。”

上帝說：「水要滋生眾多有生命之物；要有鳥飛在地面以上，天空之中。」

神說：“水要滋長生物；地上和天空之中，要有雀鳥飛翔！”

上帝說：『水要滋生無數的活物，要有飛鳥飛在地上，天穹之中。』

神說：「讓水中充滿成群的活物，讓飛鳥在大地之上、在天上的穹蒼中飛翔。」

上帝曰、水宜滋生生物、鳥飛地上、戾乎穹蒼、

上帝曰、水必滋生生物、鱗蟲畢具、鳥飛於地、戾於穹蒼。

天主曰、水當滋生有生之動物、又有鳥飛於地、上戾空中、

And God said,“ Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.”

God said,“ Let the seas be filled with living things. Let birds fly above the earth across the huge space of the sky.”

And God said,“ Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the heavens.”

Then God said,“ Let the water swarm with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky.”

Then God said,“ Let the waters teem with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth in the open expanse of the heavens.”

Then God said,“ Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens.”

And God said, Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

Then God said,“ Let the water swarm with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky.”

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl[ that] may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

God said,“ Let the water swarm with swarms of living creatures and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky.”

God said,“ Let the waters abound with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth in the open expanse of the sky.”

So the Lord God formed from the ground all the wild animals and all the birds of the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would call them, and the man chose a name for each one.

O Lord, what a variety of things you have made! In wisdom you have made them all. The earth is full of your creatures.Here is the ocean, vast and wide, teeming with life of every kind, both large and small.

wild animals and all livestock, small scurrying animals and birds,

Then God blessed them, saying,“ Be fruitful and multiply. Let the fish fill the seas, and let the birds multiply on the earth.”

And I have given every green plant as food for all the wild animals, the birds in the sky, and the small animals that scurry along the ground— everything that has life.” And that is what happened.

He could speak with authority about all kinds of plants, from the great cedar of Lebanon to the tiny hyssop that grows from cracks in a wall. He could also speak about animals, birds, small creatures, and fish.

And that is what happened. God made this space to separate the waters of the earth from the waters of the heavens.

Release all the animals— the birds, the livestock, and the small animals that scurry along the ground— so they can be fruitful and multiply throughout the earth.”

and human hands can’t serve his needs— for he has no needs. He himself gives life and breath to everything, and he satisfies every need.

Then God said,“ Let lights appear in the sky to separate the day from the night. Let them be signs to mark the seasons, days, and years.

Some people work wisely with knowledge and skill, then must leave the fruit of their efforts to someone who hasn’t worked for it. This, too, is meaningless, a great tragedy.
