Then God said,“ Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

Then God said,“ Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.”

穿上了新人。這新人照著他的創造者的形象漸漸更新，能夠充分認識主。

並且穿上新人。這新人是照著神的形象，在公義和真實的聖潔裡創造的。

耶和華神說：“那人和我們中間的一個相似，能知善惡；現在恐怕他伸出手來，摘取生命樹上的果子吃，就永遠活著。”

啊！人算甚麼，你竟記念他？世人算甚麼，你竟眷顧他？你使他比天使（“天使”或譯：“神”）低微一點，卻賜給他榮耀尊貴作冠冕。你叫他管理你手所造的，把萬物都放在他的腳下，就是所有的牛羊、田間的走獸、空中的飛鳥、海裡的魚，和海裡游行的水族。

我們眾人臉上的帕子既然已經揭開，反映主的榮光（“反映主的榮光”或譯：“對著鏡子看見主的榮光”），就變成主那樣的形象，大有榮光。這是主所作成的，他就是那靈。

要知道耶和華是神；他創造了我們，我們是屬他的（“我們是屬他的”有古抄本作“不是我們自己”）；我們是他的子民，也是他草場上的羊。

我們用它來稱頌我們的主和天父，又用它來咒詛照神的形象被造的人。

以下是亞當後代的記錄。神創造人的時候，是按著自己的樣式造的；

地上各樣的走獸，空中各樣的飛鳥，甚至地上各樣爬行的動物，和海裡各樣的魚類，都要對你們驚恐懼怕；這一切都已經交在你們手裡了。所有活著的動物都可以作你們的食物，我把這一切都賜給你們，好像我把青菜賜給了你們一樣。唯獨帶著生命的肉，就是帶著血的肉，你們卻不可吃。

這愛子是那看不見的神的形象，是首先的，在一切被造的之上。

耶和華啊！現在你還是我們的父；我們不過是泥土，你才是陶匠；我們眾人都是你手所作的。

男人不應蒙著頭，因為他是神的形象和榮耀，而女人是男人的榮耀。

但是有人在聖經上某一處證實說：“人算甚麼，你竟記念他？世人算甚麼，你竟眷顧他？你使他暫時成了比天使卑微（“暫時成了比天使卑微”或譯：“比天使稍低微一點”），卻賜給他榮耀尊貴作冠冕，（有些古卷在此有“並立他統管你手所造的一切”一句）使萬物都服在他的腳下。”既然萬有都服了他，就沒有剩下一樣不服他的了。但是現在我們還沒有看見萬有都服他。不過，我們看見那位暫時成了比天使卑微（“暫時成了比天使卑微”或譯：“比天使稍低微一點”）的耶穌，因為受了死的痛苦，就得了榮耀尊貴作冠冕，好叫他因著神的恩典，為萬人嘗了死味。

這些不信的人被這世代的神弄瞎了他們的心眼，使他們看不見基督榮耀的福音的光；基督就是神的形象。

流人血的，人也必流他的血；因為神造人，是按著他自己的形象。

我所明白的，只有這件事：神造人原是正直的，他們卻找出許多巧計。”

耶穌回答：“人若愛我，就要遵守我的話，我父必定愛他，並且我們要到他那裡去，跟他住在一起。

願以色列因造他的主歡喜，願錫安的居民因他們的王快樂。

因著他我們可以生存、活動、存在，就如你們有些詩人說：‘原來我們也是他的子孫。’我們既然是神的子孫，就不應該以為他的神性是好像人用手藝、心思所雕刻的金銀石頭一樣。

你安設黑暗，有了晚上，林中的百獸就都爬出來。少壯獅子吼叫覓食，要尋求從神而來的食物。太陽升起的時候，牠們就躲避，回到自己的洞穴躺臥。人出去作工，勞碌直到晚上。耶和華啊！你所造的真是眾多。它們都是你用智慧造成的；全地充滿你所造的東西。

各類飛禽、走獸、昆蟲、水族，都可以馴服，而且都已經被人類制伏了；

他從一個本源造出了萬族來，使他們住在整個大地上，並且定了他們的期限和居住的疆界，

來，我們下去，在那裡混亂他們的語言，使他們聽不懂對方的話。”

現在我已經親自把這一切國家都交在我僕人巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒的手中，連田野的走獸，我也交給他，供他奴役。

我又聽見主的聲音說：“我可以差遣誰呢？誰肯為我們去呢？”我說：“我在這裡，請差遣我。”

你必與田間的石頭立約，田間的野獸必與你和平相處。

耶穌卻對他們說：“我父作工直到現在，我也作工。”

卻沒有說：‘神我的創造主在哪裡呢？他使人在夜間歌唱。

因為你把一切新奇的事，傳到我們耳中，我們願意知道這些事是甚麼意思。”
