God blessed them and said to them,“ Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

创造诸天的耶和华，制造成全大地的神，他创造坚定大地，并非使地荒凉，是要给人居住。他如此说：“我是耶和华，再没有别神。

神就赐福给这一切，说：“滋生繁多，充满海中的水；雀鸟也要多生在地上。”

若不是耶和华建造房屋，建造的人就枉然劳力；若不是耶和华看守城池，看守的人就枉然警醒。你们清晨早起，夜晚安歇，吃劳碌得来的饭，本是枉然；惟有耶和华所亲爱的，必叫他安然睡觉。儿女是耶和华所赐的产业；所怀的胎是他所给的赏赐。少年时所生的儿女好像勇士手中的箭。箭袋充满的人便为有福；他们在城门口和仇敌说话的时候，必不至于羞愧。

在你那里凡有血肉的活物，就是飞鸟、牲畜，和一切爬在地上的昆虫，都要带出来，叫它在地上多多滋生，大大兴旺。”

你妻子在你的内室，好像多结果子的葡萄树；你儿女围绕你的桌子，好像橄榄栽子。看哪，敬畏耶和华的人必要这样蒙福！

论福，我必赐大福给你；论子孙，我必叫你的子孙多起来，如同天上的星，海边的沙。你子孙必得着仇敌的城门，并且地上万国都必因你的后裔得福，因为你听从了我的话。’”

雅比斯求告以色列的神说：“甚愿你赐福与我，扩张我的境界，常与我同在，保佑我不遭患难，不受艰苦。”神就应允他所求的。

他又赐福给他们，叫他们生养众多，也不叫他们的牲畜减少。

我必赐福给她，也要使你从她得一个儿子。我要赐福给她，她也要作多国之母；必有百姓的君王从她而出。”

至于以实玛利，我也应允你：我必赐福给他，使他昌盛，极其繁多。他必生十二个族长；我也要使他成为大国。

六子是亚米利，七子是以萨迦，八子是毗乌利太，因为神赐福与俄别以东。

当夜耶和华向他显现，说：“我是你父亲亚伯拉罕的神，不要惧怕！因为我与你同在，要赐福给你，并要为我仆人亚伯拉罕的缘故，使你的后裔繁多。”

你父亲的神必帮助你；那全能者必将天上所有的福，地里所藏的福，以及生产乳养的福，都赐给你。

以扫举目看见妇人孩子，就说：“这些和你同行的是谁呢？”雅各说：“这些孩子是神施恩给你的仆人的。”

你寄居在这地，我必与你同在，赐福给你，因为我要将这些地都赐给你和你的后裔。我必坚定我向你父亚伯拉罕所起的誓。我要加增你的后裔，像天上的星那样多，又要将这些地都赐给你的后裔。并且地上万国必因你的后裔得福；

他们就给利百加祝福说：我们的妹子啊，愿你作千万人的母！愿你的后裔得着仇敌的城门！

愿天和地、洋海和其中一切的动物都赞美他！

这样，耶和华后来赐福给约伯比先前更多。他有一万四千羊，六千骆驼，一千对牛，一千母驴。

他们禁止嫁娶，又禁戒食物，就是神所造、叫那信而明白真道的人感谢着领受的。
