亞伯蘭對所多瑪王說：『我已經向天地的製作主，至高者上帝永恆主舉手起誓；

但亞伯蘭對所多瑪王說：「我曾經向耶和華至高神、天地的主宰舉手起誓：

亞伯蘭曰、我已舉手、指至高之上帝、天地之主宰耶和華而誓、

亞伯蘭曰、吾指至高之上帝、天地之主、耶和華而誓、

亞伯蘭謂所多瑪王曰、我指天地之主宰、至高天主耶和華而誓、

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ With raised hand I have sworn an oath to the Lord, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have raised my hand to make a promise to the Lord. He is the Most High God. He is the Creator of heaven and earth.

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have lifted my hand to the Lord, God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth,

Abram replied to the king of Sodom,“ I solemnly swear to the Lord, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have raised my hand in an oath to the LORD, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have sworn to the Lord God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have raised my hand to the Lord, God Most High, the Possessor of heaven and earth,

And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lifted up my hand unto Jehovah, God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have raised my hand in an oath to Yahweh, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth,

But Abram replied to the king of Sodom,“ I raise my hand to the LORD, the Most High God, Creator of heaven and earth, and vow

Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have lifted up my hand to Yahweh, God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth,

And I will bring you to the land I swore with uplifted hand to give to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob. I will give it to you as a possession. I am the Lord.’” (niv)

The man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, lifted his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and I heard him swear by him who lives forever, saying,“ It will be for a time, times and half a time. When the power of the holy people has been finally broken, all these things will be completed.” (niv)

Then the angel I had seen standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven.And he swore by him who lives for ever and ever, who created the heavens and all that is in them, the earth and all that is in it, and the sea and all that is in it, and said,“ There will be no more delay! (niv)

The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; (niv)

Let them know that you, whose name is the Lord— that you alone are the Most High over all the earth. (niv)

I lift my hand to heaven and solemnly swear: As surely as I live forever, (niv)

Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba, and there he called on the name of the Lord, the Eternal God. (niv)

At the end of that time, I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven, and my sanity was restored. Then I praised the Most High; I honored and glorified him who lives forever. His dominion is an eternal dominion; his kingdom endures from generation to generation. (niv)

‘ The silver is mine and the gold is mine,’ declares the Lord Almighty. (niv)

When he saw her, he tore his clothes and cried,“ Oh no, my daughter! You have brought me down and I am devastated. I have made a vow to the Lord that I cannot break.” (niv)

Now swear to me here before God that you will not deal falsely with me or my children or my descendants. Show to me and the country where you now reside as a foreigner the same kindness I have shown to you.”Abraham said,“ I swear it.”Then Abraham complained to Abimelek about a well of water that Abimelek’s servants had seized.But Abimelek said,“ I don’t know who has done this. You did not tell me, and I heard about it only today.”So Abraham brought sheep and cattle and gave them to Abimelek, and the two men made a treaty.Abraham set apart seven ewe lambs from the flock,and Abimelek asked Abraham,“ What is the meaning of these seven ewe lambs you have set apart by themselves?”He replied,“ Accept these seven lambs from my hand as a witness that I dug this well.”So that place was called Beersheba, because the two men swore an oath there. (niv)

When Abram was ninety- nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said,“ I am God Almighty; walk before me faithfully and be blameless. (niv)

For this is what the high and exalted One says— he who lives forever, whose name is holy:“ I live in a high and holy place, but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite. (niv)

and he blessed Abram, saying,“ Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth.And praise be to God Most High, who delivered your enemies into your hand.” Then Abram gave him a tenth of everything. (niv)
