神说：“不然，你妻子撒拉要给你生一个儿子，你要给他起名叫以撒。我要与他坚定所立的约，作他后裔永远的约。

上帝说：“不！你妻子撒拉必为你生一个儿子，你要给他起名叫以撒。我要与他坚立我的约，成为他后裔永远的约。

神说：“不！你妻子撒拉必为你生一个儿子，你要给他起名叫以撒。我要与他坚立我的约，成为他后裔永远的约。

上帝说：“不，你妻子撒拉必为你生一个儿子，你要给他取名叫以撒，我必向他和他的后代坚守我的约，直到永远。

神说：“你的妻子撒拉，真的要为你生一个儿子，你要给他起名叫以撒，我要与他坚立我的约，作他后裔的永约。

神说：“不，你的妻子撒拉将为你生一个儿子，你要给他起名为以撒。我要与他确立我的约，作为他后裔永远的约。

神說：「不然，你妻子撒拉要給你生一個兒子，你要給他起名叫以撒。我要與他堅定所立的約，作他後裔永遠的約。

上帝說：「不！你妻子撒拉必為你生一個兒子，你要給他起名叫以撒。我要與他堅立我的約，成為他後裔永遠的約。

神說：「不！你妻子撒拉必為你生一個兒子，你要給他起名叫以撒。我要與他堅立我的約，成為他後裔永遠的約。

上帝說：「不，你妻子撒拉必為你生一個兒子，你要給他取名叫以撒，我必向他和他的後代堅守我的約，直到永遠。

神說：“你的妻子撒拉，真的要為你生一個兒子，你要給他起名叫以撒，我要與他堅立我的約，作他後裔的永約。

上帝說：『不，是你妻子撒拉必給你生個兒子；你要給他起名叫以撒；我要同他堅立我的約，做他以後的苗裔永遠的約。

神說：「不，你的妻子撒拉將為你生一個兒子，你要給他起名為以撒。我要與他確立我的約，作為他後裔永遠的約。

上帝曰、否、爾妻撒拉必生子、可名以撒、我將與彼立約、為其後裔之永約、

上帝曰、爾妻撒拉、果必生子、命名以撒、我將與以撒、及其後裔、立永約。

天主曰、爾妻撒拉果必生子、可命名以撒、我將與彼及其後裔立我約、以為永約、

Then God said,“ Yes, but your wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you will call him Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him.

Then God said,“ Yes, I will bless Ishmael. But your wife Sarah will have a son by you. And you will name him Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him. That covenant will last forever. It will be for Isaac and his family after him.

God said,“ No, but Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his offspring after him.

But God replied,“ No— Sarah, your wife, will give birth to a son for you. You will name him Isaac, and I will confirm my covenant with him and his descendants as an everlasting covenant.

But God said,“ No. Your wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you will name him Isaac. I will confirm my covenant with him as a permanent covenant for his future offspring.

But God said,“ No, but your wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you shall name him Isaac; and I will establish My covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him.

Then God said:“ No, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac; I will establish My covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his descendants after him.

And God said, Nay, but Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant for his seed after him.

But God said,“ No. Your wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you will name him Isaac. I will confirm My covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his future offspring.

And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant,[ and] with his seed after him.

God said,“ No, Sarah your wife is going to bear you a son, and you will name him Isaac. I will confirm my covenant with him as a perpetual covenant for his descendants after him.

God said,“ No, but Sarah, your wife, will bear you a son. You shall call his name Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant for his offspring after him.

这不是说神的话落了空。因为从以色列生的不都是以色列人，也不因为是亚伯拉罕的后裔就都作他的儿女；惟独“从以撒生的才要称为你的后裔。”这就是说，肉身所生的儿女不是神的儿女，惟独那应许的儿女才算是后裔。因为所应许的话是这样说：“到明年这时候我要来，撒拉必生一个儿子。”

天使对他说：“撒迦利亚，不要害怕，因为你的祈祷已经被听见了。你的妻子伊利莎白要给你生一个儿子，你要给他起名叫约翰。你必欢喜快乐；有许多人因他出世，也必喜乐。他在主面前将要为大，淡酒浓酒都不喝，从母腹里就被圣灵充满了。他要使许多以色列人回转，归于主他们的神。他必有以利亚的心志能力，行在主的前面，叫为父的心转向儿女，叫悖逆的人转从义人的智慧，又为主预备合用的百姓。”撒迦利亚对天使说：“我凭着什么可知道这事呢？我已经老了，我的妻子也年纪老迈了。”天使回答说：“我是站在神面前的加百列，奉差而来对你说话，将这好信息报给你。到了时候，这话必然应验；只因你不信，你必哑巴，不能说话，直到这事成就的日子。”

当亚伯拉罕年老的时候，撒拉怀了孕；到神所说的日期，就给亚伯拉罕生了一个儿子。亚伯拉罕给撒拉所生的儿子起名叫以撒。

弟兄们，我们是凭着应许作儿女，如同以撒一样。当时，那按着血气生的，逼迫了那按着圣灵生的，现在也是这样。然而经上是怎么说的呢？是说：“把使女和她儿子赶出去！因为使女的儿子不可与自主妇人的儿子一同承受产业。”弟兄们，这样看来，我们不是使女的儿女，乃是自主妇人的儿女了。

撒拉说：“神使我喜笑，凡听见的必与我一同喜笑”；

以利沙说：“明年到这时候，你必抱一个儿子。”她说：“神人，我主啊，不要那样欺哄婢女。”妇人果然怀孕，到了那时候，生了一个儿子，正如以利沙所说的。

三人中有一位说：“到明年这时候，我必要回到你这里；你的妻子撒拉必生一个儿子。”撒拉在那人后边的帐棚门口也听见了这话。亚伯拉罕和撒拉年纪老迈，撒拉的月经已断绝了。撒拉心里暗笑，说：“我既已衰败，我主也老迈，岂能有这喜事呢？”耶和华对亚伯拉罕说：“撒拉为什么暗笑，说：‘我既已年老，果真能生养吗？’耶和华岂有难成的事吗？到了日期，明年这时候，我必回到你这里，撒拉必生一个儿子。”

你寄居在这地，我必与你同在，赐福给你，因为我要将这些地都赐给你和你的后裔。我必坚定我向你父亚伯拉罕所起的誓。

到明年这时节，撒拉必给你生以撒，我要与他坚定所立的约。”
