and said,“ No, my friends. Don’t do this wicked thing.

He said,“ No, my friends. Don’t do such an evil thing.

and said,“ I beg you, my brothers, do not act so wickedly.

“ Please, my brothers,” he begged,“ don’t do such a wicked thing.

He said,“ Don’t do this evil, my brothers.

and said,“ Please, my brothers, do not act wickedly.

and said,“ Please, my brethren, do not do so wickedly!

And he said, I pray you, my brethren, do not so wickedly.

He said,“ Don’t do this evil, my brothers.

He said,“ No, my brothers! Don’t act so wickedly!

He said,“ Please, my brothers, don’t act so wickedly.

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.

Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood[ shall be] upon them.

Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it[ is] abomination.

And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

And the man, the master of the house, went out unto them, and said unto them, Nay, my brethren,[ nay], I pray you, do not[ so] wickedly; seeing that this man is come into mine house, do not this folly.

Then said David, Ye shall not do so, my brethren, with that which the LORD hath given us, who hath preserved us, and delivered the company that came against us into our hand.For who will hearken unto you in this matter? but as his part[ is] that goeth down to the battle, so[ shall] his part[ be] that tarrieth by the stuff: they shall part alike.

But before they lay down, the men of the city,[ even] the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:
