眾曰、退、又曰、斯人旅於斯土、乃欲為士師、今將害爾、較彼尤甚、遂迫羅得、徑前欲破其門、

曰、爾速退、爾旅於此、乃欲為士師乎。今將害爾、較彼尤甚。且促羅得、勢甚迫切、徑前、欲破其門。

曰、爾速退、又曰、斯人旅此、乃欲治我耶、今將害爾、較彼尤甚、遂催迫羅得、進前、欲破其門、

“ Get out of our way,” they replied.“ This fellow came here as a foreigner, and now he wants to play the judge! We’ll treat you worse than them.” They kept bringing pressure on Lot and moved forward to break down the door.

“ Get out of our way!” the men of Sodom replied to Lot.“ You came here as an outsider. Now you want to act like a judge! We’ll treat you worse than them.” They kept trying to force Lot to open the door. Then they moved forward to break it down.

But they said,“ Stand back!” And they said,“ This fellow came to sojourn, and he has become the judge! Now we will deal worse with you than with them.” Then they pressed hard against the man Lot, and drew near to break the door down.

“ Stand back!” they shouted.“ This fellow came to town as an outsider, and now he’s acting like our judge! We’ll treat you far worse than those other men!” And they lunged toward Lot to break down the door.

“ Get out of the way!” they said, adding,“ This one came here as an alien, but he’s acting like a judge! Now we’ll do more harm to you than to them.” They put pressure on Lot and came up to break down the door.

And they said,“ Stand back!” Then they said,“ This one came in to stay here, and he keeps acting as a judge; now we will deal worse with you than with them.” So they pressed hard against the man Lot, and came near to break down the door.

“ Out of our way!” they cried, and“ This man came to live here as a foreigner, and now he dares to judge us! We’ll do more harm to you than to them!” They kept pressing in on Lot until they were close enough to break down the door.

They said,“ Stand back!” Then they said,“ This one fellow came in to live as a foreigner, and he appoints himself a judge. Now we will deal worse with you than with them!” They pressed hard on the man Lot, and came near to break the door.

But he said,“ Who made you a ruler and a judge over us? Do you intend to kill me as you killed the Egyptian?” Then Moses was afraid and said,“ Surely the matter has become known!”

Abram settled in the land of Canaan, while Lot settled in the cities of the vicinity of the Jordan, and moved his tents as far as Sodom.

and if He rescued righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the perverted conduct of unscrupulous people( for by what he saw and heard that righteous man, while living among them, felt his righteous soul tormented day after day by their lawless deeds),

Who say,‘ Keep to yourself, do not come near me, For I am holier than you!’ These are smoke in My nostrils, A fire that burns all the day.

the beginning of his talking is foolishness, and the end of it is evil insanity.

“ Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before pigs, or they will trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.

He answered by giving orders to heat the furnace seven times more than it was usually heated.And he ordered certain valiant warriors who were in his army to tie up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed nego in order to throw them into the furnace of blazing fire.Then these men were tied up in their trousers, their coats, their caps, and their other clothes, and were thrown into the middle of the furnace of blazing fire.For this reason, because the king’s command was harsh and the furnace had been made extremely hot, the flame of the fire killed those men who took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed nego.

A stone is heavy and the sand weighty, But the provocation of a fool is heavier than both of them.

One who corrects a scoffer gets dishonor for himself, And one who rebukes a wicked person gets insults for himself.Do not rebuke a scoffer, or he will hate you; Rebuke a wise person and he will love you.

Let a person meet a bear robbed of her cubs, Rather than a fool in his foolishness.

The Philistine also said to David,“ Come to me, and I will give your flesh to the birds of the sky and the wild animals.”

This is an evil in everything that is done under the sun, that there is one fate for everyone. Furthermore, the hearts of the sons of mankind are full of evil, and insanity is in their hearts throughout their lives. Afterward they go to the dead.

Now then, be aware and consider what you should do, because harm is plotted against our master and against all his household; and he is such a worthless man that no one can speak to him.”

And if the man said to him,“ They must burn the fat first, then take as much as you desire,” then he would say,“ No, but you must give it to me now; and if not, I am taking it by force!”
