Yahweh God commanded the man, saying,“ You may freely eat of every tree of the garden;

耶和华神吩咐那人说：“园子中各样树上的果实，你都可以随意吃；

耶和華神吩咐他說：「園中各樣樹上的果子，你可以隨意吃，

耶和華上帝吩咐那人說：「園中各樣樹上所出的，你可以隨意吃，

耶和華神吩咐那人說：「園中各樣樹上所出的，你可以隨意吃，

耶和華上帝吩咐那人說：「你可以隨意吃園中所有樹上的果子，

耶和華神吩咐那人說：“園中各樣樹上的果子，你都可以吃；

永恆主上帝吩咐那人說：『園中各樣樹的果子、你都可以喫：

耶和華神吩咐那人說：「園子中各樣樹上的果實，你都可以隨意吃；

命之曰、囿中樹果、任意可食、

命其人曰、囿之果實、任意可食、

耶和華天主諭人曰、園中各樹之果、爾可任意以食、

And the Lord God commanded the man,“ You are free to eat from any tree in the garden;

The Lord God gave the man a command. He said,“ You may eat fruit from any tree in the garden.

And the Lord God commanded the man, saying,“ You may surely eat of every tree of the garden,

But the Lord God warned him,“ You may freely eat the fruit of every tree in the garden—

And the LORD God commanded the man,“ You are free to eat from any tree of the garden,

The Lord God commanded the man, saying,“ From any tree of the garden you may freely eat;

And the Lord God commanded the man, saying,“ Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat;

And Jehovah God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

And the Lord God commanded the man,“ You are free to eat from any tree of the garden,

And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

Then the LORD God commanded the man,“ You may freely eat fruit from every tree of the orchard,

Charge those who are rich in this present world that they not be arrogant, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on the living God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy;

Samuel said,“ Has Yahweh as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying Yahweh’s voice? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to listen than the fat of rams.

Out of the ground Yahweh God made every tree to grow that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food, including the tree of life in the middle of the garden and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Now the serpent was more subtle than any animal of the field which Yahweh God had made. He said to the woman,“ Has God really said,‘ You shall not eat of any tree of the garden’?”The woman said to the serpent,“ We may eat fruit from the trees of the garden,

For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be rejected, if it is received with thanksgiving.
