但耶和华啊，你是我们的父亲。我们是陶泥，你是窑匠，你亲手造了我们。

那时尘土必归于尘土，灵也要归回赐灵的上帝。

圣经上也说：“第一个亚当成了有生命的人”，但末后的亚当是赐人生命的灵。

上帝的灵创造了我，全能者的气赋予我生命。

也不需要人的侍奉，因为祂一无所缺。祂将生命、气息和万物赐给世人。

你必汗流满面，才有饭吃，一直到你归回尘土。因为你是尘土造的，也必归回尘土。”

因为祂知道我们的本源，顾念我们不过是尘土。

只要我一息尚存，鼻中还有上帝之气，

第一个人亚当来自地上，是用尘土造的，但第二个人基督来自天上。

在陆地上所有用鼻孔呼吸的生灵都死了。

因此，耶和华上帝就把亚当赶出伊甸园，让他去开垦土地——他的本源。

你这个人啊！你是谁啊？竟敢顶撞上帝！受造之物怎能对造物主说：“你为什么把我造成这样？”

以下是耶和华关于以色列的启示。铺展穹苍、奠立大地的根基、塑造人灵魂的耶和华说：

不要再倚靠世人，他们的生命不过是一口气，他们有什么值得称道的呢？

要知道耶和华是上帝，祂创造了我们，我们属于祂，是祂的子民，是祂草场上的羊。

摩西和亚伦就伏在地上说：“上帝啊，赐人生命的上帝啊！一人犯罪，你就要向全体会众发怒吗？”

在上帝面前，我与你无异，也是泥土造的。

再者，我们的生身父亲管教我们，我们尚且敬重他们，何况是万灵之父上帝管教我们，我们岂不更要顺服祂并得到生命吗？

然后祂向他们吹了一口气，说：“你们领受圣灵吧！

心灵是耶和华的灯，鉴察人的肺腑心肠。

两者都同归一处，出于尘土，也归于尘土。谁知道人的气息会向上升，兽的气息会降到地下呢？”

我们知道，我们的身体好比是地上的帐篷，如果毁坏了，我们就从上帝那里得到一个住处，不是人手造的，而是天上永恒的“房屋”。

我称谢你，因为你创造我的作为是多么奇妙可畏，我心深深知道。我在隐秘处被造、在母腹中成形的时候，你对我的形体一清二楚。

撕裂有时，缝合有时；沉默有时，发言有时；

我们不过是瓦器，里面却有这宝贝，要显明这莫大的能力是上帝的，而不是我们自己的。

更何况源自尘土、住在土造的躯壳里、脆弱如蛾的世人呢？
