For He Himself knows our form; He is mindful that we are nothing but dust.

For as long as life is in me, And the breath of God is in my nostrils,

The first man is from the earth, earthy; the second man is from heaven.

of all that was on the dry land, all in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life, died.

therefore the Lord God sent him out of the Garden of Eden, to cultivate the ground from which he was taken.

On the contrary, who are you, you foolish person, who answers back to God? The thing molded will not say to the molder,“ Why did you make me like this,” will it?

The pronouncement of the word of the Lord concerning Israel: The Lord who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of a person within him, declares:

Take no account of man, whose breath of life is in his nostrils; For why should he be esteemed?

Know that the Lord Himself is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

But they fell on their faces and said,“ God, the God of the spirits of humanity, when one person sins, will You be angry with the entire congregation?”

Behold, I belong to God, like you; I too have been formed out of the clay.

Furthermore, we had earthly fathers to discipline us, and we respected them; shall we not much more be subject to the Father of spirits, and live?

And when He had said this, He breathed on them and* said to them,“ Receive the Holy Spirit.

The spirit of a person is the lamp of the Lord, Searching all the innermost parts of his being.

All go to the same place. All came from the dust and all return to the dust.Who knows that the spirit of the sons of mankind ascends upward and the spirit of the animal descends downward to the earth?

For we know that if our earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made by hands, eternal in the heavens.

I will give thanks to You, because I am awesomely and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.My frame was not hidden from You When I was made in secret, And skillfully formed in the depths of the earth;

A time to tear apart and a time to sew together; A time to be silent and a time to speak.

But we have this treasure in earthen containers, so that the extraordinary greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves;

How much more those who live in houses of clay, Whose foundation is in the dust, Who are crushed before the moth!
