Truly I am as your spokesman before God; I also have been formed out of clay.

Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live?

And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them,“ Receive the Holy Spirit.

The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord, Searching all the inner depths of his heart.

All go to one place: all are from the dust, and all return to dust.Who knows the spirit of the sons of men, which goes upward, and the spirit of the animal, which goes down to the earth?

For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.

How much more those who dwell in houses of clay, Whose foundation is in the dust, Who are crushed before a moth?
