Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

但耶和华啊，现在你仍是我们的父！我们是泥，你是陶匠；我们都是你亲手所造的。

尘土仍归于地，像原来一样，气息仍归于赐气息的神。

经上也是这样记着说：“首先的人亚当成了有生命的人”；末后的亚当成了赐生命的灵。

神的灵造了我，全能者的气使我得生。

也不用人手去服侍，好像缺少什么似的；自己倒将生命、气息、万物赐给万人。

你必汗流满面才有食物可吃，直到你归了土地，因为你是从土地而出的。你本是尘土，仍要归回尘土。”

因为他知道我们的本体，思念我们不过是尘土。

只要我的生命尚在我里面，神所赐的气息仍在我鼻孔内，

第一个人是出于地，是属于尘土；第二个人是出于天。

在干地上凡鼻孔里有生命气息的都死了。

耶和华神就驱逐他出伊甸园，使他耕种土地，他原是从土地里被取出来的。

你这个人哪，你是谁，竟敢向神顶嘴呢？受造之物岂会对造他的说：“你为什么把我造成这样呢？”

耶和华的默示，他的话论到以色列。铺张诸天、建立地基、造人里面之灵的耶和华说：

你们不要倚靠世人，他只不过鼻孔里有气息，算得了什么呢？

当认识耶和华是神！我们是他造的，也是属他的；我们是他的民，是他草场的羊。

摩西、亚伦脸伏于地，说：“神，赐万人气息的神啊，一人犯罪，你就要向全会众发怒吗？”

看哪，我在神面前与你一样，也是用泥土造成的。

再者，我们曾有肉身之父管教我们，我们尚且敬重他，何况灵性之父，我们岂不更当顺服他而得生命吗？

说了这话，他向他们吹一口气，说：“领受圣灵吧！

人的灵是耶和华的灯，鉴察人的内心深处。

都归一处，都是出于尘土，也都归于尘土。谁知道人的气息是往上升，走兽的气息是下入地呢？

因为我们知道，我们这地上的帐篷若拆毁了，我们将有神所造的居所，不是人手所造的，而是在天上永存的。

我要称谢你，因我受造奇妙可畏，你的作为奇妙，这是我心深知道的。我在暗中受造，在地的深处被塑造；那时，我的形体并不向你隐藏。

撕裂有时，缝补有时；沉默有时，说话有时；

我们有这宝贝放在瓦器里，为要显明这莫大的能力是出于神，不是出于我们。

何况那些住在泥屋、根基在尘土里、被蛀虫所毁坏的人呢？
