The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground— trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

The Lord God made every kind of tree grow out of the ground. The trees were pleasing to look at. Their fruit was good to eat. There were two trees in the middle of the garden. One of them had fruit that let people live forever. The other had fruit that let people tell the difference between good and evil.

And out of the ground the Lord God made to spring up every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

The Lord God made all sorts of trees grow up from the ground— trees that were beautiful and that produced delicious fruit. In the middle of the garden he placed the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

耶和華神說：“那人和我們中間的一個相似，能知善惡；現在恐怕他伸出手來，摘取生命樹上的果子吃，就永遠活著。”

聖靈向眾教會所說的話，有耳的就應當聽。得勝的，我必定把神樂園裡生命樹的果子賜給他吃。’

那些洗淨自己袍子的人是有福的！他們可以有權到生命樹那裡，也可以從門進到城裡。

經過城裡的街道。河的兩邊有生命樹，結十二次果子，每月都結果子；樹葉可以醫治列國。

在河這邊和那邊的岸上，都必有各種果樹生長，可作食物，樹上的葉子不枯乾，果子也不斷絕。每月必結出新果子，因為樹所需的水是從聖所裡流出來的。樹上的果子可作食物，葉子可以治病。”

只是那知善惡樹的果子，你不可吃；因為你吃的時候，你必要死。”

義人所結的果子就是生命樹；智慧人必能得人。

只有園中那棵樹上的果子，神曾經說過：‘你們不可吃，也不可摸，免得你們死。’”

對緊握智慧的人來說，智慧是生命樹，凡是緊抓智慧的，都是有福的。

神園中的香柏樹不能與它相比，松樹比不上它的枝子；楓樹也不及它的枝條；神園中所有的樹木都比不上它的秀美。我使它因枝條繁多而顯得秀美，以致在神的園中，伊甸所有的樹木都嫉妒它。

我把它扔下陰間，與那些下到陰府的人一起的時候，我就使列國因它墜落的響聲而震驚。伊甸所有的樹木，就是黎巴嫩有水滋潤、最佳最美的樹，都在地的深處得到安慰。

在伊甸所有的樹木中，有誰的榮美和高大能與你相比呢？然而你卻要與伊甸的樹木一同下到地的深處。你要在沒有受割禮的人中，與被刀劍所殺的人一同躺臥。這樹就是法老和他的眾民。這是主耶和華說的。’”

關於祭過偶像的食物，我們曉得我們都有知識。但知識會使人自高自大，唯有愛心能造就人。

你向來倚靠自己的邪惡，說：‘沒有人看見我’；你的智慧和知識把你引入了歧途。你心裡說：‘只有我，除了我以外，再沒有別的。’

我就是生命的食物，

我們在耶和華我們的神面前，如果照著他吩咐我們的，謹守遵行這一切誡命，這就是我們的義了。’”

我使說假話者的兆頭失效，使占卜者都變成愚昧人；我使有智慧的人後退，使他們的知識變為愚拙。
