亚比米勒召见亚伯拉罕，对他说：“你为什么要害我们？我什么地方得罪了你？你竟使我和我的人民陷入大罪！你不该这样做。”

亚比米勒把亚伯拉罕召了来，对他说：“你为什么向我们这样行呢？我在什么事上得罪了你，以致你给我和我的国带来这个大罪呢？你对我作了不应该作的事。”

亚比米勒又召来亚伯拉罕，对他说：“你对我们做了什么呢？我是怎么对你犯罪的，以致你把这样的大罪带给了我和我的国？你对我做了不应该做的事。”

亞比米勒召了亞伯拉罕來，對他說：「你怎麼向我這樣行呢？我在甚麼事上得罪了你，你竟使我和我國裏的人陷在大罪裏？你向我行不當行的事了！」

亞比米勒召了亞伯拉罕來，對他說：「你怎麼向我這樣做呢？我甚麼事得罪你，你竟使我和我的國陷在大罪中呢？你對我做了不該做的事了！」

亞比米勒召見亞伯拉罕，對他說：「你為什麼要害我們？我什麼地方得罪了你？你竟使我和我的人民陷入大罪！你不該這樣做。」

亞比米勒把亞伯拉罕召了來，對他說：“你為甚麼向我們這樣行呢？我在甚麼事上得罪了你，以致你給我和我的國帶來這個大罪呢？你對我作了不應該作的事。”

亞比米勒把亞伯拉罕召來，對他說：『你怎麼向我們這樣行呢？我得罪了你甚麼，你竟使我和我國內的人都陷於大罪呢？你向我行了不該行的事了。』

亞比米勒又召來亞伯拉罕，對他說：「你對我們做了什麼呢？我是怎麼對你犯罪的，以致你把這樣的大罪帶給了我和我的國？你對我做了不應該做的事。」

亞比米勒召亞伯拉罕曰、爾於我儕、所為何耶、我何事獲罪爾、乃陷我於重罪、爰及我國、爾之行於我者、實非所宜、

亞庇米力呼亞伯拉罕曰、爾果何為、我曷嘗獲罪爾、爾乃陷我於重罪、爰及人民、爾之相待、甚非所宜。

亞比米勒召亞伯拉罕曰、爾向我何為、我何嘗獲罪於爾、爾竟以我與我國、陷於重罪、爾向我為所不可為之事、

Then Abimelek called Abraham in and said,“ What have you done to us? How have I wronged you that you have brought such great guilt upon me and my kingdom? You have done things to me that should never be done.”

Then Abimelek called Abraham in. Abimelek said,“ What have you done to us? Have I done something wrong to you? Why have you brought so much guilt on me and my kingdom? You have done things to me that should never be done.”

Then Abimelech called Abraham and said to him,“ What have you done to us? And how have I sinned against you, that you have brought on me and my kingdom a great sin? You have done to me things that ought not to be done.”

Then Abimelech called for Abraham.“ What have you done to us?” he demanded.“ What crime have I committed that deserves treatment like this, making me and my kingdom guilty of this great sin? No one should ever do what you have done!

Then Abimelech called Abraham in and said to him,“ What have you done to us? How did I sin against you that you have brought such enormous guilt on me and on my kingdom? You have done things to me that should never be done.”

Then Abimelech called Abraham and said to him,“ What have you done to us? And how have I sinned against you, that you have brought on me and on my kingdom a great sin? You have done to me things that ought not to be done.”

And Abimelech called Abraham and said to him,“ What have you done to us? How have I offended you, that you have brought on me and on my kingdom a great sin? You have done deeds to me that ought not to be done.”

Then Abimelech called Abraham, and said unto him, What hast thou done unto us? and wherein have I sinned against thee, that thou hast brought on me and on my kingdom a great sin? thou hast done deeds unto me that ought not to be done.

Then Abimelech called Abraham in and said to him,“ What have you done to us? How did I sin against you that you have brought such enormous guilt on me and on my kingdom? You have done things to me that should never be done.”

Then Abimelech called Abraham, and said unto him, What hast thou done unto us? and what have I offended thee, that thou hast brought on me and on my kingdom a great sin? thou hast done deeds unto me that ought not to be done.

Abimelech summoned Abraham and said to him,“ What have you done to us? What sin did I commit against you that would cause you to bring such great guilt on me and my kingdom? You have done things to me that should not be done!”

Then Abimelech called Abraham, and said to him,“ What have you done to us? How have I sinned against you, that you have brought on me and on my kingdom a great sin? You have done deeds to me that ought not to be done!”

So Pharaoh summoned Abram.“ What have you done to me?” he said.“ Why didn’t you tell me she was your wife? (niv)

Then Abimelek said,“ What is this you have done to us? One of the men might well have slept with your wife, and you would have brought guilt upon us.” (niv)

No one is greater in this house than I am. My master has withheld nothing from me except you, because you are his wife. How then could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God?” (niv)

Meanwhile, Jacob’s sons had come in from the fields as soon as they heard what had happened. They were shocked and furious, because Shechem had done an outrageous thing in Israel by sleeping with Jacob’s daughter— a thing that should not be done. (niv)

They must be silenced, because they are disrupting whole households by teaching things they ought not to teach— and that for the sake of dishonest gain. (niv)

About three months later Judah was told,“ Your daughter-in-law Tamar is guilty of prostitution, and as a result she is now pregnant.” Judah said,“ Bring her out and have her burned to death!” (niv)

“ No, my brother!” she said to him.“ Don’t force me! Such a thing should not be done in Israel! Don’t do this wicked thing. (niv)

Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral. (niv)

And the Lord struck the people with a plague because of what they did with the calf Aaron had made. (niv)

Joshua said,“ Why have you brought this trouble on us? The Lord will bring trouble on you today.” Then all Israel stoned him, and after they had stoned the rest, they burned them. (niv)

For God does not show favoritism. (niv)

And he added,“ Why is my lord pursuing his servant? What have I done, and what wrong am I guilty of?Now let my lord the king listen to his servant’s words. If the Lord has incited you against me, then may he accept an offering. If, however, people have done it, may they be cursed before the Lord! They have driven me today from my share in the Lord’s inheritance and have said,‘ Go, serve other gods.’ (niv)

He said to Aaron,“ What did these people do to you, that you led them into such great sin?” (niv)

Now, therefore, the sword will never depart from your house, because you despised me and took the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your own.’“ This is what the Lord says:‘ Out of your own household I am going to bring calamity on you. Before your very eyes I will take your wives and give them to one who is close to you, and he will sleep with your wives in broad daylight. (niv)

Whoever leads the upright along an evil path will fall into their own trap, but the blameless will receive a good inheritance. (niv)

“‘ If a man commits adultery with another man’s wife— with the wife of his neighbor— both the adulterer and the adulteress are to be put to death. (niv)

David burned with anger against the man and said to Nathan,“ As surely as the Lord lives, the man who did this must die! (niv)
