邑之四周、共計一萬八千肘、是日以後、邑名曰耶和華在此、

果爾、我所事之上帝、能拯我於烈火之爐、亦必拯我於爾手、即不然、王當知我決不事爾神、不拜爾所立之金像、尼布甲尼撒怒甚、向沙得拉米煞亞伯尼歌變色、命爇其爐、烈較尋常七倍、亦命軍中壯士數人、縛沙得拉米煞亞伯尼歌、投諸烈火之爐、三人被縛、仍衣褲袍與褻服、及他衣、投於烈火之爐、因王命孔亟、其爐甚熱、投沙得拉米煞亞伯尼歌之人、俱為火燄所斃、沙得拉米煞亞伯尼歌三人被縛、墮於烈火之爐、時、尼布甲尼撒王駭異、急起、謂議士曰、我所縛而投於火者、非三人乎、對曰、王歟、是也、王曰、我見四人、不縛不傷、遊於火中、其四者之貌、有若神子、

大哉敬虔之奧、無不以為然也、彼顯於形軀、徵於心靈、見於天使、宣於列邦、信於天下、躋於光榮焉、

夫道成人身、寓我儕中、充以恩寵真理、我儕見其榮、如天父獨生子之榮焉、
